WORSHIP IS NOT...

Worship is not singing.

Worship is not music.

Worship is not goosebumps.

Worship is not tears.

Worship is not dancing.

Worship is not raising your hands.

Worship is not closing your eyes.

Worship is not falling under the anointing.

Worship is not a Sunday activity.

Worship is not how beautifully you can sing.

Worship is not a performance to impress people.

Worship is a life surrendered to God.

You can sing and never worship.

You can cry and never worship.

You can dance and never worship.

You can spend hours in church and never worship.

Worship begins where self ends. It is the continual offering of your heart, your body, your will, your obedience, and your life to God.

The Father is not looking for talented performers. He is looking for true worshippers.

"God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:24

Many people attend worship services. Few actually worship.

"When people have problems, pastors tell them to go to God. But when pastors have problems, they ask Christians to contribute."

This criticism sounds convincing until you examine the Bible.

It assumes that trusting God excludes receiving help from people. Scripture teaches the exact opposite. Throughout the Bible, God repeatedly met people's needs through human vessels.

When the widow needed food, God sent Elijah. When Elijah needed food, God sent the widow. When Paul was in need, the Philippian church supported him. Was Paul trusting the Philippians instead of God? No. He thanked the church, but declared that "my God shall supply all your need" (Philippians 4:19). God supplied through people.

Even Jesus accepted the financial support of His followers (Luke 8:1–3). Did that mean He lacked faith? Certainly not. It demonstrated that God works through the generosity of His people.

The Church is not a gathering of individuals who only pray for one another. It is the Body of Christ. The God we pray to is often the God who answers prayers by moving His people to act.

So telling someone to pray is not denying practical help, and asking the Church to help is not denying God's provision. Prayer invites God's intervention; generosity is often the instrument of that intervention.

The real question is not, "Why did the pastor ask the church?" The real question is, "Why do we assume God cannot use His own people to answer prayer?"

Can Someone Lose Their Salvation?

The better question is not, "Can I lose my salvation?" but, "Am I still abiding in Christ?"

The Bible never encourages believers to live carelessly because they once made a confession of faith. Instead, it repeatedly calls us to continue, endure, abide, and hold fast.

Jesus did not say, "He who starts will be saved." He said, "He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."

The apostles did not spend their letters warning unbelievers about falling away they warned believers to remain steadfast in Christ.

Salvation is by grace alone. But the grace that saves also teaches us to continue walking with Jesus.

Don't build your confidence on a past decision. Build it on a present relationship with Christ.

Don't just begin well. Finish well. Don't just receive Christ. Remain in Him. Don't just profess faith. Persevere in faith.

"Be faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."

Should Instrumentalists Be Paid?

This question is dividing many churches today.
My answer is this: The issue is not money. The issue is the heart.
If a church has the ability to support its musicians, there is nothing wrong with doing so. "The laborer is worthy of his wages." (1 Timothy 5:18)
But if a musician will not worship God unless there is money, then ministry has become a business.
Likewise, if a church has the means to support those who faithfully labor but chooses to exploit them, that is equally wrong.
The Church was built on sacrifice, not transactions.
Our gifts are first offered to God before they are offered to people. Support is a blessing, but it should never replace a heart of service.
May God deliver the Church from both exploitation and commercialization.
Serve because you love Christ. Support those who serve because you honor Christ.

This generation has confused “having content” with “having stature.”
A 23-year-old preacher watches five YouTube sermons, learns two Greek words, discovers one doctrinal issue, then suddenly climbs the pulpit like he’s heaven’s auditor sent to expose everybody. Meanwhile, men they are mocking have scars, prayer altars, tears, fasting histories, and decades of carrying people’s burdens.
Christianity is probably the only space where people think access to a microphone automatically qualifies them to become judges of everyone older than them.
Some young ministers don’t even understand process. They think revelation is rank. It is not.
You can know a verse and still not know God deeply.
You can preach powerfully and still lack weight.
You can expose error and still be spiritually immature.
The tragedy is that public correction has become entertainment. Rebuking “fathers” gets applause online. Humility no longer trends. Honor is now interpreted as compromise.
And yes, fathers are not always right. Some genuinely teach error. Some need correction. But there is a difference between correcting with tears and attacking with ego.
The old fathers may not have had perfect theology, but many of them carried genuine fire. Some of today’s young voices have accurate doctrine but no brokenness, no patience, no endurance, no submission, no history with God.
A man in his twenties publicly insulting elders as “young ministers” while standing behind a pulpit is often revealing more about his immaturity than his revelation.
The microphone has intoxicated many people. Visibility has become mistaken for authority. But heaven does not measure men the way social media does.
Some people have followers. Some have influence. Very few have weight.

A generation is rising in the secret place.
Still in gestation, yet already dangerous to darkness.
They are not the product of trends, platforms, or applause.
They are being forged in prayer, brokenness, consecration, and fire.
Yaoundé will feel the sound of their awakening.
Cameroon will witness a people who carry conviction, purity, power, and the burden of the Kingdom.
They may still look hidden now, but heaven has already marked them.
Their voices will shake altars of compromise.
Their prayers will trouble principalities.
Their lives will become evidence that God still raises burning ones in every generation.
A movement is forming.
An army is emerging.
And this land will not remain the same. 🔥
