The Christian life is all about love. God is love. In love, we don't measure up, prove ourselves, we don't have to get it all right.

We just need to become love to people and be calm but most especially we have to model the life of Jesus in us and carry His message - the GOOD NEWS with us. Yes! This is possible as we show His LOVE to people.

The bible says Love is patient, kind, does not record wrongs, does not jealous, boast or rude. Love does not rejoice about injustice but truth. Love never gives up, and never loses faith, its always hopeful and endures all. Wow! Can we?

We are naturally incapable to love at this level. We must depend on the power of the Holy Spirit to enable us to love others. THE ONLY WAY FOR US TO LOVE LIKE GOD LOVES IS TO LET GOD LOVE FOLLOW THROUGH US.

LORD, LET YOUR LOVE FLOW THROUGH MY HEART ALWAYS IN JESUS NAME

New life and a right relationship with God are possible only through the redemptive acts of God in Christ Jesus.

Baptism is a sign and seal of the covenant of grace. It was instituted by God in Christ. Baptism represents Christ and confirms to faith the privilege of communion with him. Baptism distinguishes its recipients from the world. Baptism engages those who receive it to serve Christ.

Today, these made a right decision. Friends and partners, join me as we celebrate them and pray that they will remain faithful in their decision 🙏.

All glory goes to God.

And there we saw the giants, the son's of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers and so we were in their sight. Numbers 13:33
10 of the 12 spies returned from the promise land with this report or saying. The other two Caleb and Joshua, saw thesame giants but believed that God will help them conquer.. they said let us go ..with God's help, we will conquer.

As a child of God, you must have what I call a winning language or a winners language. With God on your side, you will ever win and be a winner always. Look at what happened between David and Goliath. David said I come to you in the name of the Lord. We have to come to the understanding that it's not by our might or by power, but by the spirit of God almighty. Let God almighty lead.

My brothers and sisters, God has a plan for your life. You are not here by accident. You may say brother, I have so many problems, how can you say God has plan for my life or how can God use a man like me? Agree today with His Word, like Paul press on to reach perfection, like Gideon see the value and greatness God has deposited inside of you, like Jabez hold God in prayers, like Hannah pour out your heart to God. Let God lead.

I know you see many imperfections, discouraging things around your life, I know your family background may not be what you want, I know your present condition doesn't give you any hopes, I know everyone sees you as a failure etc.. My friend, there is GOOD NEWS for YOU. God uses imperfect people and make them perfect. Let God be your strength, your source, your master planner and your secret to success. He has always use the foolish, weak things to make them strong.

You have God's ordained Destiny. Just say old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new. See your self succeeding, blessed, favoured and loved by God.

Prayers: Father, I thank you for your word today. Thank you for a new day, it's a day you have made and I'm glad. Guide and direct me today. I stop seeing the failures all around me, I stop giving myself to the negative words I hear about me. I see the value, your grace, blessings and plans you have for my life. I receive your strength and ability to become what you want me to be. Lead me out of every dark situation to your light. I receive your strength, your favour and your spirit to excel in life. Thank you because you are my God. In Jesus name. Amen

Philippians 4: 6-7
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Paul is encouraging us to pray in every situation. Prayer is the key to everything in life especially when we need God's abundant blessings. Most of the time, we quit prayers and resort to criticising and complaining. The words we speak especially in the midst of life challenges are like cloud or sunshine, they create an atmosphere. Either a positive or a negative atmosphere.. I remember the song writer who says take it to the Lord in prayers.

We rise above our anxiety by giving thanks, not by complaining. Our level of giving thanks should not be determined by our situation. We serve a God who is bigger than the situation. Don't let your problems be bigger than your God. Take your eyes off the problem and put them on God.

Brothers and sisters, you can create your own atmosphere of joy and happiness. Don't spend time criticising yourself or complaining about your situation. Go to God in prayer for direction. Make up your mind to change the situation. Don't create a negative atmosphere. Learn to be positive and create a right environment for your lifting.

Remember change doesn't come easily but you can start now to create that change. You can tell yourself, from now onwards, I will be positive, and do things that will advance my career and life.

To conclude. Verse 8 says: whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.

Prayers: Our Father in heaven, I thank you for a new day. Help me to choose my words as I speak to myself, my family members, friends and colleagues. In the midst of life challenges, let me be able to think of you first and be in prayers. I refused to be controlled by situations surrounding my life. I receive grace to go for things that are excellent and praiseworthy in Jesus Christ name. Lord give me a positive,faith filled attitude. I commit this day into your hands sovereign Lord. Thank you Jésus. Amen

13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield ourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey, whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness. Romans Chapter 6

The 'will' of man is control by man himself. Before sin can have power over a child of God, it must first pass through his will. In this chapter, Apostle Paul reminded us about our past slavery to sin. How we yield ourselves to sin but now encourages us to yield and submit ourselves to our new master- Jesus Christ.

Most people blame the devil for certain actions in their life when truly the devil is not responsible. We are totally responsible for what controls and dominate us. Whatever we yield ourselves to, we become slaves to that thing; It might be s*x, idolatry, hatred, witchcraft drunkenness, lust, seduction etc but in Galatians 4, Paul encourages us to walk in the Spirit and produces fruits of the spirit.

When you yield yourself to something, with time, that thing will have tremendous control over you. After the act, you start regretting and even hate yourself for yielding to it., "why me again" For example, the spirit of lust..it has enslaved so many and made so many useless. What is lust.. I must have it now, I want it now or never.. and the price is very costly. Many people say, I can give up that habit when i want, it's so difficult.

Testimony: Yesterday, I was returning from my village. I boarded a bus. A young girl of about 32 was inside. She told us a story about herself. She said every Saturday night she will go to night club buy a bottle of beer and seat alone. Men will come there, see her, lost after her, buy her drinks with the intension of dancing and passing the night with her. At the end of the day, she will drink like 8 bottles and eat rusted meat from them and ran to her house and sleep. This habit enslaved her for a long time and finally she was delivered by Jesus Christ.

If you are passing through the same or similar thing there is solution for you. No escape from this will ever come from any human power, but only through the power of redemption. We must yield ourselves to the one who can break the dominating power of unrighteousness in our life, Jesus Christ the righteous redeemer. He was anointed by God for this purpose. As we yield to him today, he will break every kind of slavery in our life.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you for a new day and a new week. I pray that this week, sin shall not have dominion and control over my life. Let my will be focus and submissive to your word. In the name of Jesus, I break every unrighteous habit that wants to dominate and rule over me. As the mountain surround Jerusalem, surround us today Lord. Let our going out and coming in be fruitful. Let us not return home empty. Favour us today on every side. I commit those traveling today into your hands, grant them safe travels in Jesus Christ name..

Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give you the desires of you heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Psalm 37:4-5

As we start this week, many of us have desires, plans, dreams or things to accomplish this new week. I encourage you to plan. There is a saying that " if you fail to plan, then you are planning to fail".

My friends, we must realise that no matter planning, without God, it is an error. Why because only the perfect plan of God will come pass. God rules in the affairs of man. It will be wise for us to plan our every day with God and partner with the holy spirit.

This is only possible if we delight ourselves in God, commit and trust him as the perfect master planner. We need to trust God enough and commit everything into his hands. Start your day with prayers, bible studies and trust God to be working for the best outcome.

Why will you go off doing your own things and cry out only when you are in trouble. If Jesus is really our Lord, we will take it to him in prayer, we will not pass through needless sorrows, pains etc. Let us keep our eyes on him as we go through the week and expect him to do what we cannot do. Any time, you fail to plan with God, you are definitely planning with the enemies. Today refuse to plan without God.

Prayer: Father thank you for this new week. I know you are the perfect planner, the designer of my life, I commit all my plans for the week and month into your hands. Take over Lord and help me accomplish the desires of my heart, bring all my heart desires according to your will to come to pass. Lord let great and might things locate us this week, this month, good health, abundance of peace and prosperity as we lift up your name in praise and worship. As the mountain surround Jerusalem, Lord surround your people, their families and investments in Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. – Romans 12:2 (NASB)

The renewal of our minds is a part of the transformation that takes places when we become children of God. It’s where true spiritual growth begins and where important battles are won.

Up until recently, I wasn’t exactly sure what renewing my mind looked like in practice. I knew I was supposed to do it, and I was aware that it was a daily process. But I wasn’t sure about the practicality behind it. What does a “renewed mind” look like? Is it something God does in me? Or do I have a role to play?

The more I dove into the Scriptures, the more I realized how much the Bible had to say about our thought life. In fact, I began to learn how critical our thought life is to our faith in Jesus. We cannot be productive for the Kingdom, love the way we’re called to love, or even experience God’s peace and joy without first renewing our minds. It’s that important.

Changing the way we think may seem like a daunting task. It certainly requires a bit of discipline. I have to make choices about what I allow my mind to dwell on. We may not have control over the thoughts that spontaneously enter our minds, but we certainly have control over the thoughts we allow to stay.

So why go through all this trouble in the first place? Is having a renewed mind worth it?

When it comes to renewing our minds, the benefits are endless.

We more readily love and forgive others.
We develop hatred towards sin and worldly living.
Abiding in Him becomes second nature.
We daily experience the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.

I don’t know about you, but I’d say these are some amazing benefits!

And the best benefit of all is that we begin to see the world through the eyes of our Savior.

Here is today's challenge:

Read Ephesians 4:21-24. What do we learn about the process of renewing your mind from this passage? What role does the Holy Spirit play? What role do you play as a believer?
Read Romans 12:2 and Colossians 3:10. What promises do we receive when we choose to renew our minds in Christ?

*Morning Encouragements*
Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Many of us look for our enemies outside. The enemy is most of the times are inside but if they are outside enemies, they will use those from the inside to harm you. It was Joseph own brothers who hated him because of this successful dreams, it was his own brothers who put him into the pit, it was his own brothers who sold him out and lied to their father that he is dead.
As a child of God, you must know that at times those whom you help, will stand against you to sell you, to criticize you and to talk you down. They will even plan to destroy your investments and efforts. The bible call it household wickedness.
*Testimony* : Some time ago, I was introduced to a Pastor that came to Cameroon from Nigeria. He needed papers to reside in Cameroon. Everyone refused to help, but when he explained to me, I did help him, knowing i am helping a brother. By the grace of God, through my help, he was given 10 years stay in Cameroon. I took no money from him for that. This same person got too close to our church members and wanted to divide the church. Infact he even divided the church. But by the grace of God we are still standing strong. This is an example of what I am talking about. Most of us who are member of Grand Baobab FMC, knows what is happening to my person and the church with a guy who called himself pastor in the name of Fred. A person who had no place to sleep at first but we helped , we fed him, helped paid his rents, gave him pocket money but today he has been accusing and insulting me and the church. I have forgiven them but I brought it up for you to know how the devil can use a person you have helped to bring you down

Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Out of envy and jealously the brothers of Joseph sold him, Samson was bound by members of his family and handed to the enemy *(Judges 15:1-13).*
I want to encourage you this morning, whatever the enemy is doing against you will only promote you in the name of Jesus. God's plan for your life will never be aborted in the name of Jesus. The bible says all things work for good to them that love God and who are called according to his purpose. Just stay in the plan of God. The bible says, they shall gather but will never succeed to bring you down because God is not with them. They shall go down before your very eyes in the name of Jesus. Whatever they are doing will promote you in the name of Jesus. It will work for your good in Jesus Christ name.
Household wickedness is one of the reasons why most families are not progressing. Family members stand up against the success of family members. They are not ready to promote others to their next level. Many of us look for enemies outside but our real enemies are inside. I pray, my God will expose them in Jesus name. Household wickedness has kept many people in one position. I pray for you. Any power from your own family fighting you, let my God expose them and destroy them in Jesus mighty name.
This is something you can't run away from it. All you need to do is build up your spiritual life and grow in prayers and the word of God. You must pray violently and strategically against it.

1. All satanic manipulations aimed at changing my destiny from my father's house die in the name of Jesus
2. Powers from my father's house assigned against my advancement, die in the name of Jesus

*Morning Encouragements*
Psalm 27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
One of the things i see this month is that our heads shall be lifted up above your enemies. The enemies will be surprised by what God is going to do in your life this month. There shall be a lifting, elevation and increase in all your doing. God himself is going to hold your hands and take you to the place of blessings. This is possible through patiently waiting on God and maintaining the character of holiness, honesty and righteousness. 1 Sam 2:7 "The Lord maketh poor and maketh rich: he bringeth low and lifted up." This was a song from the mouth of Hannah. God wiped away her barrenness, shame and put a new song in her mouth. She recognized God is the only one that has the power of lifting someone and make them be above their enemies. The problem many raise and fall is that they don't appreciate God for what he is doing in their life. They always forget where they came from.

Hannah had been hurt, mocked, abused and looked down by her co-wife and neighbours. Everyone knew her as a barren woman. I don't know what people are saying about your life, destiny and what evil word they are speaking against you.. May be they say.. You are living a wasted life, you have never achieved anything in life, etc. God is going to turn your shame into glory. Your disgrace into grace. Your disappointment into appointment, your barrenness into fruitfulness.
Hannah turn to her husband, no solution. Listen well by beloved. You have turned to many and they have failed you. Turn to God now. Hannah turned to God, She entered the house of God. She entered into a Free Methodist Church. One true encounter with God can change everything about your life. She cried out to God all she has passed through in life. And the Bible says.. And God remembered Hannah. This second half of the year, my God is going to remember you. In the name of Jesus Christ. Listen well, there are times also were vows provoke God to act fast. She made a vow to give back to God.
*Testimony* : you remember the testimony of that brother. Displaced to Douala because of the crisis since 10 month. No job, he had been 10 years without entering a church. He came to our church, just within two weeks a job located him. Woah. Praise God
This month, wherever the enemy has buried your glory, even as the bones of Elisha came out, your glory will show forth and you will be divinely elevated. Deuteronomy 28:13

1. Father I thank you because you are the lifter and promoter of my life. Lift me up now lord
2. Every strong man delegated by my enemies to bring me down, you are a liar, die in the name of Jesus
3. Every agent of shame, disappointment and disgrace assigned against my destiny, come out now in Jesus name
4. You evil tongue talking me down and you strange hand pulling me down, catch fire now in the name of Jesus
5. You wicked household witchcraft power assigned against me and my family, I disconnect myself, my family and sister from your power
6. I break every curse of unfruitfulness in my life in Jesus name
7. Lord fortify me with your power for greater achievements
8. Lord remember me in every area of my life in the name of Jesus
9. I cover my blessings with the blood of Jesus

*Morning Encouragement*
Obadiah 1:3 The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground? 4 Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

This morning my heart goes to all those who are going through satanic and witchcraft attack from any source. My heart also goes to you who have been praying and waiting on God to intervene in your situation. I want to let you know that, it's your time for restoration. The bible says rejoice because Jesus Christ has given us the victory.
As a pastor for close to 15 years now, I know there are some stubborn situations in our life that seem to defy our prayers. These type of situation is as a result of a satanic alter, satanic covenant or satanic embargo. But I want to tell you that no matter how powerful the enemy or enemies may be holding you, no matter their ownership over your life, our Jesus is still Lord and has already defeated them on your behalf. All you need to do is love the Lord God with all your heart and serve him diligently. The bible says seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, all good things will follow you. Testimony : we had a program and I was praying for people, suddenly the Lord open my eyes and I saw a writing on the forehead of a sister " You will not get married " She told me, " Pastor, I have had 5 marital disappointments" what a pity! I prayed for her and everything ended.
This testimony is to let you know your God is still faithful and is about changing your story and profile. This month, my God will disgrace your enemies. They have fought you for long but I want to let you know this morning that God has changed his mind and is about doing a new thing in your life. The time to silence your enemies has come. Hahahahaha. Goliath was the one person holding down the Israelites for over 40 days but one stone put down.. It doesn't matter how long the situation has been but I see you coming out victorious in Christ Jesus name.
I pray that today
1. Let God disappoint your enemies
2. Their weapons against your life will not prosper
3. Wherever they gather against you, your prayers will scatter them before your eyes
4. Let the Lord left a standard against them
5. Let them be broken in pieces in Jesus name Amen.

6. Every demonic spirits that has been assigned to delay good things from locating me, go out of my life and destiny now in Jesus Christ name
7. Now begin to command breakthrough in every area of your life..

*Morning Encouragement*
As we prepare ourselves to enter into the next 6 month of the year. I want to encourage you using these verses..
Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Jesus Christ had asked the disciples to wait for the promise of the Holy Spirit. He knew the disciples or apostles could do nothing without the Holy Spirit in their life. This glorious manifestations and presence of the Holy Spirit was the start of the church.
So we see that the church was born on fire and each of us as children of God must carry that fire through the baptism of fire. John said "I baptise you with water but there is one mightier than me who will baptize you with the Holy Spirit (fire). So you see that to be a successful Christian, you must carry the fire of God in your life. The fire of God or the power of the Holy Spirit in your life is a sign of divine approval. That is what makes you a true follower of Jesus Christ. Why.. Because it's practically impossible to serve God without this fire or the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus needed the baptism of the Holy Spirit before he could start ministry. I pray God baptise you today with his fire in Jesus Christ name. Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego did not burn because they themselves were fire(Daniel 3). When you carry fire, even the devil will be afraid of you. It is impossible to do ministry without fire, good business without fire. Think of whatever, you need fire to make it successful. When you carry fire, even your enemies will be afraid challenge you. Prayers can be successful when we carry fire, business will be successful when we carry fire, destinies will be good when we carry fire, the church will increase when we carry fire. The lord is letting me to tell you that from July to December, you need his fire.. Receive the fire! Receive the fire of God! I prophecy, nothing will stop the fire in your life and you will be able to transfer the fire to someone also in Jesus name.
When fire is in the church, members will commit themselves in evangelistic program, intense prayers, fasting and church planting.
People with fire don't keep quiet, the share the Word of God. (Jeremiah 20:9). Jeremiah was unable to keep quiet because of the fire inside him.
*How can we maintain the fire*
1. Prayers
2. Meeting together for Bible studies and prayers
3. Fasting
4. Holy living
5. Sound bible studies
6. Evangelistic work etc

Message of today : A Changed Life
Ephesian 4:17-32
Christianity is being like Christ and it's the work of the Holy Spirit in the heart and soul of man. The work of the Holy Spirit in the heart and soul of man makes him to be Born Again. He becomes a new person. 2 Cor. 5:17.. ..anyone be in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come! 18.. All this is from God..... You can't keep living your former old life. There must be a sincere change. Before Jesus becomes your saviour, he must be your Lord.

Before a man truly become a Christan, he or she must be convicted of sin and the need for forgiveness. Not about healing, miracle, or deliverance need, but the need of sin forgiveness. This will lead to true repentance, forgiveness, reconciliation and peace with God. This is what we called justification, it's done by God as we realize ourselves to enter into covenant relationship with him. The guilty sinner become free from the guilt of sin and condemnation.

Sanctification follows there after. This is a partnership work between you and the Holy Spirit. We are save to do what we want but what Jesus wants us to do.

Verses 22-24..4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Paul laid down the principal and gives us the practical modalities
PUT OFF... PUT ON
Paul is asking us to put off old and put on new. That is removing something that is not suppose to be there and put on something new as new person in Christ Jesus. It is clear that we have a responsibility. Thus, we are called to do something as Christians. It will not work if we don't make an effort. Now we have the spirit of God inside of us to help us please God by doing what is right. There are things we must put of and there are things we must put on. In the Old, old self ruled, your flesh ruled, now Christ rules.. No more self, your thoughts, ambitions and desires are now controlled by Christ Jesus because he reigns in righteousness and holiness. All this is done by the help of the Holy Spirit.
Verses 25-32
4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
Put away lying and speak truth. Lying is of the devil. He is the father of lies. Some Christians can even tell lies in a way that Satan will be surprised. As a child of God, always speak truth. Truth set free and help you become a person of integrity.
26-27 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
Anger is bad. some Christians can get angry for years, days even with their marriage partners. God is saying put it off and give no place to Satan.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
stealing is bad. There are many in the house of God and they are big time thieves. Please work with your hands and be diligent. Your hands are to be holy. The bible says lift up Holy hands to God in prayers and not accused hands.
4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Your communication must be season with salt and not gossips and unholy languages
4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
