Today’s Praise, Worship & Prophetic Service at the ZION CITY CHURCH OF CHRIST was a true divine visitation, powerfully led by Pastor Mrs BORIS MECHUNEKE. The Word was released with authority and fire, prayers ascended with intensity, and heart-warming prophetic words flowed freely, touching lives and aligning destinies. The atmosphere was charged with the tangible presence of God—faith was ignited, burdens were lifted, and many left refreshed and strengthened. Truly, when God speaks, lives are transformed! 🙌🔥🕊️

God says:" What is God’s attitude toward people’s lives? God keeps people safe in every situation, and guards them from falling into temptation and other dangerous predicaments, and protects their lives. What is God’s aim in doing this? It is to make people lead their lives properly. What is the purpose of making people lead their lives properly? He does not compel you to be superhuman, nor to hold everything under heaven in your heart, nor to worry about the country and the people, and much less to take His place in ruling over all things, orchestrating all things, and ruling over humankind. Rather, He requires you to assume the proper place of a created being, to fulfill the duties of a created being, to perform the duties that people should perform, and to do what people should do."......

LA CROIX : LE VÉRITABLE AUTEL

Depuis la chute, Dieu a établi un principe immuable : nul ne s’approche de Lui sans autel. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moïse, Élie savaient que sans autel, il n’y a ni présence, ni alliance, ni gloire. C’était l’endroit où le feu tombait, où le sang parlait, où l’homme rencontrait Dieu.
Mais à Golgotha, Jésus-Christ a dressé le dernier autel de l’histoire : la Croix. Là, le sang de l’Agneau éternel a coulé ; là, le voile s’est déchiré ; là, le feu divin est descendu sur les cœurs. Depuis, la Croix est l’unique autel du chrétien, le lieu où l’on meurt pour renaître.

LA CROIX : L’AUTEL DE LA RÉCONCILIATION

Tous les autels anciens n’étaient que des ombres annonçant la Croix : Abel et son agneau, Noé après le déluge, Abraham sur Morija. Chacun murmurait le nom de Jésus.
À la Croix, Dieu a fait la paix « par le sang de Sa croix » (Col 1:20). Ce n’est pas qu'un instrument romain, c'est un plan divin, un pont jeté entre le coupable et le Saint. Là, nous ne sommes plus ennemis, mais fils ; plus esclaves, mais héritiers.
Et cet autel glorieux est aussi celui de l’amour suprême : Dieu donna Son Fils là où nous aurions dû mourir. Chaque goutte du sang de Jésus proclame encore : « Tu es pardonné. »

LA CROIX : L’AUTEL DE LA VICTOIRE ET DE LA PUISSANCE

Ce que les hommes ont pris pour une défaite fut la plus grande victoire spirituelle : « Il a dépouillé les principautés… par la croix » (Col 2:15). Satan a été vaincu, le péché jugé, la mort brisée.
Et pour le croyant, la puissance vient de la Croix : « La prédication de la Croix est une puissance de Dieu » (1 Co 1:18). Tant que tu restes près de cet autel — tant que ton “moi” y demeure crucifié — le diable ne peut t’accuser, le péché ne peut te dominer, le monde ne peut t’engloutir.
La Croix est la clé de toute gloire : « Si nous mourons avec lui, nous vivrons aussi avec lui » (2 Tim 2:11). La croix qui pèse sur la chair devient lumière pour l’esprit.

REVIENS À LA CROIX

Lorsque tu t’approches de la Croix :
- les chaînes tombent,
- les ténèbres reculent,
- la vie renaît.
La Croix n’est pas un symbole : c’est l’autel où Dieu t’attend, où Il fait mourir et vivre, où Il efface ton passé, sanctifie ton présent et ouvre ton avenir.
Le Seigneur te dit : « Reviens à la Croix. Reviens à l’autel. » Car cet autel n’est plus fait de pierres… il est fait d’amour.

« Car c’est par la grâce que vous êtes sauvés, par le moyen de la foi. »
Ce verset nous rappelle que notre salut ne dépend ni de nos efforts ni de nos mérites, mais entièrement de la grâce de Dieu. Il nous invite à recevoir avec humilité et reconnaissance ce don immérité, et à vivre chaque jour conscients que tout commence par l’amour gratuit que Dieu nous accorde.

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔?

🔴They are not a factor! They don't matter!

📖Deuteronomy 28:7 ...they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

🔴If God has accepted you, it doesn't matter who does not accept you.

🔴Let me tell you a secret, no one who dislikes you can ever be ahead of you.

🔴It's a spiritual secret. Here, I'm not talking about hatred, I'm talking about dislike.

🔴I have told you, “I have never met anyone I didn't like.” You've got to make up your mind.

🔴Someone who doesn't like you can never be ahead of you.

🔴Don’t give attention to your adversaries, for they don’t count.

🔴It makes no difference how many people gang up against you, they’re not a factor.

🔴You’ve been raised together with Christ!

🔴Greater is He that’s in you than he that’s in the world. Read the words of David in Psalm 27:2: “When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.”

🔴There was no need for him to pray against his enemies; they simply took their place: they stumbled and fell. That’s the fate of anyone who professes to be your enemy. If they don’t repent, they’re doomed.

🔴But your role is to pray for them, hoping God would grant them repentance unto the acknowledging of the truth.

𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑

🔴Did you know that there’re positions of prayer, and that the different positions you assume when you pray are important?

For example,

1️⃣ 𝐋𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐁𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘 𝐈𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑

— When you lie on your bed to pray, it's meditative.

— You’re likely going to start out praying in tongues, because there’s a lot that can come through your spirit, such as worship; you find that you’re worshipping and praising the Lord upon your bed, like the Bible says,

“Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds” (Psalm 149:5).

— You can really be stirred on your bed as you pray like that, with the anointing welling up and overwhelming you.

— Before long, you might soon bounce off the bed and start pacing the floor.

2️⃣ 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄'𝐒 𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘

— When you want to pray on your knees, it’s important that you’re specific and clear as to the things you want to pray about.

— In Ephesians 3:14-15, Paul said, “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…” ; and he clearly enumerated the things he wanted to pray about.

3️⃣ 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄'𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

— Jesus said, “And when ye stand praying, forgive…” (Mark 11:25);

WHY?

— It’s because when you stand to pray, it’s often a prayer of faith that proceeds from your mouth; you start making decrees!

— However, the Master was quick to caution that you don’t harbour unforgiveness against anyone; you must walk in love, so your prayer will be effective. He wants your prayer life to be effective.

🔴In studying the Word, you’ll learn more on positions of prayer.

🔴God wants us to continue in prayer.

📖Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.

📖Psalms 145:18 The LORD [is] nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
