Jeremiah 38:5-16 Then Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand: for the king is not he that can do any thing against you.
Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.
Now when Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs which was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin;
Ebed-melech went forth out of the king's house, and spake to the king, saying,
My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for hunger in the place where he is: for there is no more bread in the city.
Then the king commanded Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from hence thirty men with thee, and take up Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die.
So Ebed-melech took the men with him, and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took thence old cast clouts and old rotten rags, and let them down by cords into the dungeon to Jeremiah.
And Ebed-melech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put now these old cast clouts and rotten rags under thine armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.
So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the prophet unto him into the third entry that is in the house of the LORD: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a thing; hide nothing from me.
Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?
So Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee

Tout comme le Seigneur a sauvé Jérémie de la prison, Il vous sauvera toujours dans chaque dimension de votre voyage dans la vie et parce qu'ils ne parviennent pas à écouter et à connaître la valeur de ce qu'ils ont en se tenant contre le prophète et en courant vers Lui pour le retirer de la manière dont ils l'ont mis en prison, je déclare que les hommes et les femmes qui vous dévalorisent à partir d'aujourd'hui ont leur esprit renouvelé, tout comme l'esprit du roi Sédécias a été renouvelé envers Jérémie au nom de Jésus.

Jérémie 38:5-16 Le roi Sédécias dit: Voici, il est entre tes mains; car le roi n'est pas celui qui puisse rien contre toi. Ils prirent Jérémie, et le jetèrent dans la citerne de Malkija, fils d'Hammélec, qui était dans la cour de la prison; et ils descendirent Jérémie avec des cordes. Et dans la citerne, il n'y avait pas d'eau, mais de la boue; et Jérémie s'enfonça dans la boue. Or, Ébed-Mélec, l'Éthiopien, l'un des eunuques qui était dans la maison du roi, apprit qu'on avait mis Jérémie dans la citerne, le roi étant alors assis à la porte de Benjamin. Ébed-Mélec sortit de la maison du roi, et parla au roi, en disant: Mon seigneur le roi, ces hommes ont mal agi en faisant tout ce qu'ils ont fait à Jérémie, le prophète, qu'ils ont jeté dans la citerne; et il est près de mourir de faim là où il est, car il n'y a plus de pain dans la ville. Alors le roi donna cet ordre à Ébed-Mélec, l'Éthiopien, disant : Prends d'ici trente hommes avec toi, et fais sortir Jérémie, le prophète, du cachot, avant qu'il ne meure. Ébed-Mélec prit ces hommes avec lui, et entra dans la maison du roi, sous le trésor. Il y prit de vieux vêtements usés et de vieux haillons pourris, et les descendit avec des cordes dans le cachot à Jérémie. Ébed-Mélec, l'Éthiopien, dit à Jérémie : Mets maintenant ces vieux vêtements usés et ces haillons pourris sous tes aisselles, sous les cordes. Et Jérémie fit ainsi. Alors ils tirèrent Jérémie avec des cordes, et le firent sortir du cachot ; et Jérémie resta dans la cour de la prison. Alors le roi Sédécias envoya chercher Jérémie, le prophète, et le fit entrer dans la troisième entrée de la maison de l'Éternel. Le roi dit à Jérémie : Je vais t'interroger sur une chose ; ne me cache rien. Jérémie dit à Sédécias : Si je te l'explique, ne me feras-tu pas mourir ? Et si je te donne un conseil, ne m'écouteras-tu pas ? Le roi Sédécias jura secrètement à Jérémie, en disant : L'Éternel, qui nous a faits, est vivant ! Je ne te ferai pas mourir et je ne te livrerai pas e

TOPIC: HUNGER – A PATHWAY TO ACCESSING THE WORD

SCRIPTURE: Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You access the treasures of God’s Word by the demonstration of spiritual hunger.

The Word of God is a minefield of treasures. In God’s Word is hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge. In the Word of God, we find healing, deliverance, peace, supernatural supplies, victory, etc.

However, the Word of God is veiled or concealed.

Now, what do we do to access the concealed Word of God? What do we do to unveil the content of the book?
The maintenance of spiritual hunger is one way to access the treasures of the Word of God.

Psalm 81:10 says, "I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it."

Opening your mouth implies demonstrating hunger for the Word. It confirms that you are desperate for the Word, and when you are desperate, God will fill you.

Hosea 6:3 says, "Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth."

You see, it is those who follow on to know that will know. It is those who press on to know that will truly know. Insight belongs to those who are interested. Until you are interested, you can’t be insightful. Knowledge follows hunger. The knowledge of God or of His Word is a response to spiritual hunger. It is a product of spiritual hunger.

Matthew 5:6 says, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."

Filling belongs to the hungry. Children who demonstrate hunger are fed. Those who don’t demonstrate hunger may be forced to be fed, but in the spiritual realm, no one will force you to feed.
