Intimacy with God must be consciously and intentionally cultivated. Make it a daily priority to have times of communion with the Father through the Holy Spirit. It is there that you will discover why the psalmist in Psalm 16, verse 11 declared:

Psalm 16:11

You make known to me the path of life;you will fill me with Joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Find a time of the day when you can put everything else aside and concentrate only on Him. Select a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Shut the door to outside interference and to the voices that are constantly demanding your attention. Focus on one thing only: this very intimate and private time with the Lord. Time with Him is not just a limited edition; it is a bespoke experience reserved for you exclusively. Let your desire for the Secret Place, the Person of Jesus Christ, be above all else.
