Deuteronomy 7

13. And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.

14. You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock.

15. And the Lord will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.

You can quote the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and boast of having belief and faith in God; without love, it is not going to work.

No matter your knowledge in the Scriptures, the Bible says, “Love your neighbour as yourself”. Any person who does not love cannot be entrusted with the gifts of prophecy, healing and deliverance. If such gifts come from God, they come by grace. If faith works by grace, it works by love. If you don’t have love, you will continue to suppress your faith. The Bible says without love, faith cannot work.

May God open the door of your heart, the doors of your faith, the door of your spirit to receive this very important message of love, in Jesus’ name!

What does it mean to Crossover

Christ is the Lord of the storm. We can leave fear behind and cross over to the other shore.
Numerous great and little “decision moments,” or periods in our lives when we are unable to remain still but are also almost too terrified to go ahead, are characteristics of the Christian life. The future is dark, and we are aware that once we start down a certain path, there is no turning back. “Therefore, if anybody is in Christ, he is a new creature,” says the Bible. Crossing over is deciding to live in Christ. The old is gone, and the new is here.
(5:17 in 2 Corinthians)Scripture: Mark 4:35-41 - “That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side." Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?" He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!"

An Independent Mind

In the world today, there are three basic categories of people: those that make things happen, those that watch things happen, and those that wonder what happened. Those that make things happen are those that make a difference in their world; they have no time to compare themselves to others. Their aim is to reach for something higher, something new. Those who watch things happen are those who look to others for direction. They cannot think for themselves; I mean, they have no independent mind. Those who wonder what happened are those who live out their lives unnoticed, uncelebrated, and in obscurity. They see things happening—people moving, times changing—but they stay just there, sitting, wondering, crying, and complaining. Which do you belong to?

The Lord Jesus Christ is our role model; He knew who He was and what He was about. He had an independent mind and examined all things in the light of God's Word (John 7:11–18). Having an independent mind is a confirmation that we are on the right path because without knowing God's opinion, you can be a Christian and yet be controlled by satanic devices. Remember, satan always uses our situation to tempt us. When we wallow in self-pity, we are magnifying the adversary above our Heavenly Father, thus destroying our own confidence in God's Word. As Christians, we ought to know the mind of God because what God says about our situation is what we need at all times.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, give me an independent mind. A mind that examines all things in the light of God's Word, in Jesus' name! Amen!
