There is something God kept telling me about love that many in courtship are not hearing.

Solomon the wisest man who knew love very well said something that should make every single pause. In Song of Solomon chapter 8 verse 4 he said, do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.

Read that again.
Do not awaken love until it is time🧏‍♀️.

What is God trying to tell singles in courtship.
He is saying love is powerful.
Love is like fire. Fire is good in the fireplace but fire on the sofa will burn the whole house. In the same way love is beautiful but only when it is awakened in the right season.

Many in courtship today are awakening a love that is meant for marriage.

You start talking like husband and wife when you are not yet married. You start touching like husband and wife.
You start visiting and staying alone in private places.
You start stirring up emotions and desires that your current season cannot carry righteously.

And when you do that, you lose something.
You lose clarity.
You can no longer pray well.
You can no longer hear God about the person.
Red flags become invisible because feelings have covered your eyes.
You become so attached that even when God is telling you this is not the way, you cannot walk away.

That is why God says let love sleep.
Guard it.
Keep it holy.
True love can wait because true love has vision. It is not just about what it can get from your body today but about what it can build with your destiny tomorrow. The person who truly loves you will protect your purity, not pressure you to break it.

He will help you guard your heart. She will help you stay close to God.

If you are in courtship today, ask yourself, am I awakening love too early.
Am I doing marriage things in a dating season. Remember purity is not punishment, purity is protection for your future marriage. God wants to give you love without guilt, without regret, without pain.

So let love sleep for now.
Build friendship.
Build prayer.
Build vision.
Build God in the middle. When the time comes and vows are made before God, then let love fully awaken and it will be beautiful.

May God help all singles in courtship to love in wisdom and not just in feelings.
God bless you for reading till the end.

Beloved, before we can build strong relationships and marriages, we must first build ourselves on our knees.
A house that is not covered in prayer will always be open to attack. That is why we are starting this program.

We will be praying for our singles that God will lead them to the right person and prepare them for marriage.
We will be praying for those in courtship that God will give wisdom, purity and direction.
We will be praying for married couples that God will restore love, peace, unity and purpose in their homes.

The devil is fighting families because he knows a godly home is the foundation of a godly society. But we will not be silent. We will pray.

Join us every Friday from 8PM to 9PM for PRAYER & SUPPORT CORNER.
Come with your heart, come with your burdens, and let us seek God together for our relationships and marriages.
Remember, if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by our Father in heaven. Matthew 18:19.

Don’t miss it.
Your relationship, your courtship, and your marriage need prayer.

BROKEN HOMES, BROKEN SOCIETY, GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR HEALING

Our society today is hurting because the home is hurting.
We see anger in the streets because there was no peace in the house.
We see confusion in the youth because there was no direction at home.
We see divorce, abuse, and fatherlessness rising because we have abandoned God’s design for marriage and family.

But God’s Word still has the answer.
God never intended for the home to be a place of war. He designed it to be a place of love, covenant, and purpose.
The solution is not more laws, it is more of Christ.
When husbands learn to love like Christ loved the church, when wives learn to respect and build, when parents teach children the Word early, and when we forgive and serve one another, the home is healed.
And when the home is healed, the society is healed.

Let us go back to God’s blueprint. Let us build Godly homes so that we can have a Godly society.
The home is the first church, and if we get it right there, we will get it right everywhere. Ephesians 5:22-25 says, Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. Just as the church submits to Christ, the wife is to respect, support, and partner with her husband. It’s not slavery, It’s order. God designed the home to work in unity, not in competition.

Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her.
That means sacrificial love. Protect her, Provide for her, Pray for her, Lead her spiritually. Die to yourself for her good.
Christ’s standard is the benchmark.

Marriage works when husbands love like Jesus and wives respect like the church respects Christ. That’s how peace comes into the home.

Parents must know God’s Word personally. You can’t give what you don’t have.

The bible says in . Deuteronomy 6:6-7, Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

God is saying, parents teach your children daily. Not just on Sunday.
At breakfast, in the car, before bed, in everyday conversation. Let the Word be normal in your home.
The home is the first school and the first church.

If we learn to allow the holy spirit in our lives and homes, the society will be a safe place

DO YOU HAVE A GARDEN BEFORE YOU ASK FOR A HELPER/PARTNER?

Before God gave Adam a wife, He first gave him a garden.
Because if you don’t know your purpose, you will misuse the partner.

How do I know if this relationship is from God, or just my emotions?

Not every strong connection is divine direction. Some relationships feel intense because they awaken desire. Yet God’s direction is recognised by its fruit, and by whether the relationship draws you closer to Christ.

Before calling someone “God-sent”, discover what the relationship is producing. Does it strengthen your faith, honour biblical boundaries and encourage honesty, peace, purpose and spiritual growth? Or does it pressure you to compromise, hide, rush or ignore clear red flags?

Feelings can be sincere and still be mistaken. Bible-based Christian relationship advice begins not with chemistry, but with character. A godly relationship will not be perfect; however, it should help both people walk in truth and become more like Christ. Therefore, pray, test the fruit, seek wise counsel and do not confuse loneliness with confirmation.

You are not behind, forgotten or difficult to love. God’s wisdom can protect your heart and guide you towards love that is truthful, peaceful and purposeful. Bring your relationship choices before Christ today, and let His Word—not fear, pressure or fantasy, have the final say.

Bible Verse
“Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?” Matthew 7:16 (KJV)

Prayer
Lord Jesus, I surrender my feelings and relationship decisions to You. Give me discernment to recognise good fruit, courage to obey Your Word and peace to walk away from anything that draws me from You. Lead me into love that honours You. Amen.

THE VOW WE FORGOT TO KEEP

Divorce isn’t happening because love died overnight, it’s happening because we stopped protecting what we promised God on that day.

Marriage was never meant to be a contract we can cancel when it’s inconvenient, it was meant to be a covenant, God Himself is a witness to it, we can read that in Malachi 2:14 says, the Lord was witness between you and the wife of your youth. And Jesus was very clear also in Mark 10:9 whish says, What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.

So why are homes breaking in church and in the world?

Here are the quiet killers no one posts about👇👇.

📌We marry the idea of a person, not the real person, and when reality shows up, disappointment moves in. She thought he would be romantic forever, he thought she would never change, but nobody prepared them for bills, in-laws, sickness, and seasons where both of them are tired. For Example, a couple looked perfect on social media, but behind closed doors they hadn’t had a real conversation in months, they only talked about who forgot to pay the light bill.

📌Pride dresses up as self-respect and refuses to say sorry first, we would rather be right than be reconciled, and slowly the house gets cold. But the truth is, unforgiveness is building a wall. Let's say a husband forgot their anniversary, the wife stayed quiet for 3 weeks, by the time she spoke, the hurt had grown teeth.

📌We are entertaining third parties, not always another person, sometimes it’s work, sometimes it’s our phone, sometimes it’s our own parents running our home for us. Ephesians 5:31 says, a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, but many couples are still emotionally tied to people outside the marriage.Every small argument goes straight to mom, and mom picks a side, now there are 3 people in the marriage.

📌We forgot that marriage is for refining not just comfort.
God uses marriage to stand off our pride, selfishness and impatience. But we quit the moment it get uncomfortable. Most often, couples leave instead of letting God work.
For example, a couple faced infertility, instead of drawing closer to God and each other, they turned against each other, and start saying it's your fault.

📌And the biggest one, we stopped inviting God into the daily, not just on wedding day. When prayer leaves the home, the enemy gets a seat at the table. A home without God becomes two people managing each other instead of covering each other.

So to you who is single and planning marriage, please hear me, don’t just ask do I love them, ask can I do life with them when there’s no money, when one of us is sick, when our faith is being tested, date with your eyes open, get counsel, and don’t ignore the lack of peace, peace is God’s green light.

And to you who is already married, go back, not to how it was, but to Who was there at the beginning. Talk before it becomes a fight, touch before it becomes awkward, forgive before the sun goes down, and put God back in the center, not as a decoration, but as the foundation.

Marriage will refine you, it will stretch you, but it will also heal you if you let it. It dies in small compromises, but it also comes alive in small decisions.

A text that says I’m sorry, a prayer together at night, choosing to stay when leaving feels easier.

God hates divorce, not because He’s cruel, but because He knows what it does to hearts and to children. He wants us to treat marriage like treasure, with patience, with kindness, like what 1 Corinthians 13 is saying, love that bears all things.

Marry purpose, not pressure.
Build an altar, not just an aesthetic. Fight for each other, not against each other.

If we did that, how many homes could we save this year?

DON’T MARRY A WARNING SIGN

I’ve watched it happen too many times. In courtship, we see things and we explain them away. The little lies. The quick temper. The disrespect that gets called a joke. The lack of peace that we blame on stress. God will whisper to you, a friend will mention it, and deep down your spirit will feel uneasy. But because of emotions, because of time spent, because of fear of starting over, we press forward anyway.

The problem is this. What you ignore in courtship does not vanish in marriage. It grows, Marriage does not repair people. It reveals them. The pressure of bills, children, and real life will pull off every mask you both wore while dating. So the thing you kept quiet about will become the thing you cry about.

Scripture is so clear on this. Proverbs 22:3 says the prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. And 2 Corinthians 6:14 reminds us not to be unequally yoked. That is not God being harsh. That is God being a Father. He sees the road ahead.

If the Holy Spirit is giving you a red flag, He is not trying to steal your joy. He is trying to protect your future. Peace is a fruit of the Spirit. If there is constant confusion, fear, and you always have to beg for basic respect, that is not peace.

Don’t be in a hurry to get a ring and miss God’s will. Wait on Him, Ask Him. Listen, The right person will not ask you to disobey God in order to keep them. They will draw you closer to Him, not further from Him.

Marry God’s peace, not your pressure. Because ignoring signs of red flags in courtship will make you see wonders in marriage, and not the good kind.
