Theme: *Three most important things Jesus wants us to do(Continuation)*

*Key Scripture*: John 4:34

The call to follow Jesus, is the call to surrender our will to Jesus and let his will be superior to your will.
Some of us want to be followers of Jesus but we are not ready to let go of our will.
Some of us want Jesus only when our vehicle wants to go off the way.

It is important to surrender our will.
Jesus needs to be in charge.

*Luke 4:16-21*
When Jesus does what the Father wants him to do, He does not add anything.
When we want to go beyond our limits, we get into errors.
Endeavour to know and do just that which the Lord has laid in your heart to do.

A disciple, even though he has power and authority, He preaches under control.

Jesus followed the Father, surrendered his will and did whatever He had to do within the limits of what God wanted him to do.

*Proverbs 31:1*
A disciple is one who does not abuse his authority.

The reason why God gives power is *to build and not to crush others*

Disciples don't use power anyhow. We use it under authority and with all modesty.

Disciples use power to protect the weak and raise others up.

How are you using your Power as a boss in the office?As a uncle, aunt, Elder, Father, husband etc.

As a disciple, we don't abuse Power.

*Let's look at the life of Naomi and Ruth*
If Naomi used Power wrongly, Ruth wouldn't have ever desired following her.
*How do you use your authority?*

The way we use authority will prove to what extend we are disciples of Jesus.

A lot of things are going wrong today because disciples want to do their work and still help Jesus do his own.

Stay within the confines of your authority and God will Glorify his name.

Authority is not to project us but to bring out the servant in us.

*A discipled leader is a voice of the Voiceless*
Use your authority wisely.
