Nothing will happen to the Church in Cameroon 🇨🇲. All what we see are " Labour Pains". Alot comes with Growth. Even the Church that Jesus Pastored, still had a thief, betrayals and other forms of ungodly occurrences. Every Profession or vocation has " Quarks". That doesn't invalidate the reality of the possitive contributions of those Professions in the society. I have never seen where off licenses are shut down because a drunkard misbehaved. Satan has always preceeded with his Storms, and God has never failed to bring Calmness.
Even documented Churches also have their pitfalls ranging from the Othodox to the Protestants.
The Church occupies a larger thrunk of the Civil society, and so has a role to play as the moral compass of the society. We have corrupt Politicians, but Politics still remains the System through which leaders are chosen. We have Clandestine students, and ghost teachers; however, the Ministry of education can't be closed or institutions shut down simply because of those pitfalls. Cancer is also a growth, Boil is also an inflammation. So let's learn to filter with wisdom and not sentiments. Satan is also specialized in corrupting or misrepresenting a divine move with ills.
When scandals occur in main stream Churches , the LAW takes it's course, as well as the leadership of the concerned demanded of accountability. Satan will always operate in Zion, and no where else. There will always be tares in the midst of wheat, irrespective of Precautionary measures in place..
Cameroon 🇨🇲 has lots of regulatory bodies and episcopal associations, the question is, How many of the Preachers are part of?
Do we Submit to those bodies? How do we expect them to man up to responsibility when our non compliance, lack of commitment and passivity, makes it more Vulnerable and ineffective. The ones existing, Do they have the backing of the State?
Character strength, moral values and a Principled life is a personal responsibility, not just a Structural Pitfall.
In the Corporate world, and other spheres, conflicts are resolved by Policies, and internal regulations. However, the brand name must be Protected as well. Irregularities of the Church must not always be a Public debate. In as much as the society depends and expects more from the Church interms of Morality and Intergrity; human frailty should also not be Undermined.
THERE IS NO PERFECT CHURCH AS WELL AS NO PERFRCT PERSONS. The best of men, is still a Man.
However, it is the place of so-called Spiritual leaders to be an example of what they profess, before others can follow suit.. Leadership has a responsibility to purposefully and intentionally lead their flocks with integrity and godly fear and not preying on them or taking advantage of their gullibility for Manipulation.
A CRIME REMAINS ONE, NO MATTER WHO COMMITS IT. Part of accountability in leadership is responsibility ___ So let the Culprits take responsibility, and also face the consequences as a sign of remorse.
NOTHING will stop the move of God in the Nation of Cameroon 🇨🇲. Even in High places where LAWS are made, God has his remnants to defend her course.
