The population of Nseh under Nkum Council Area were also beneficiaries of the project titled "mobilization of farmers for a greater involvement in marketing and management of agro pastoral products". This project gained ground here because the people produces potatoes in a large scale but are being exploited by the middle men. With the implementation of this project, the farmers experienced a high living standard because they were now selling in high prices and have the powers or being able to determine the prices of their products. This has economically empowered the women of Nseh.

This is during one of the community mobilization, education and sensitization of the rural population of Nkum Council area. This workshop/seminar took place in Nkum Council area where the participants were mobilized on the project titled "Mobilization of farmers for a greater involvement in marketing and management of agro pastoral product" sponsored by the European Union in partnership with the Civil Society Strengthening Program (PASC) and Cameroon Government. The project was implemented by ACTWID KONGADZEM NGO where I hold the post of the Administrative Assistant. This project was aimed at stopping the exploitative nature of farmers by the middle men (buyers) who buy farm products at lower prices and using abnormal measuring containers. The targeted groups were the women (70%) and men (30%)

Our rural communities are in need of services that will enable them live above the poverty line. One of these activities is agriculture. The rural person can be alleviated from poverty through agriculture. This can move on by empowering the rural person with new agricultural skills
