PASTOR’S OPENING WORD ON PC AZIRE FACEBOOK PAGE

The Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC), got to the media with the creation of the Christian Broadcasting Services (CBS) Radio with motto, “That in every way Christ is proclaimed” based on (Phil. 1: 18). Then later on, the Church also created an official television network, PCCTV with motto, “Proclaim Christ”.

Through the radio and television, the Church has continued to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, and spread the evangelical and diaconial works of the Church through modern communication. It is in line with the above that we created a face book page for PC Azire congregation so that we can join the church to proclaim the good news, evangelise, and reach out to our Christians and even beyond so that their faith can be strengthened and their lives edified.

May God bless everyone who joins us on this page and may you find fulfilment.

Sunday 12 July 2026
7th Sunday After Pentecost
Text: Jn. 4: 1-15
Theme: The Thirst that Only Christ Can Quench
Preacher: Rev. Anjah Jubrim

Sermon in Synopsis:

• You can have everything to live with and still have nothing to live for.
• The human heart has a thirst that no earthly possession or achievement can satisfy.
• Every human has two kinds of thirst: thirst of the body, and thirst of the soul.
• Only Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, can satisfy the deepest longings of the human heart.
• No one - no matter your past, or failures - is beyond the love and grace of Jesus.
• Many world leaders and people thirst for peace, protection and security, but go for them in the wrong way.
• Only Jesus Christ can forgive our sins, heal our brokenness, restore our hope, and satisfy the deepest thirst of our soul.

The Presbyterian Church Azire, Bamenda, on Sunday, 5 July 2026, hosted the maiden edition of the PECA Mezam South Presbytery Musical Concert, bringing together choristers from across the Presbytery in a vibrant celebration of sacred music.

The event featured a mass choir comprising singers from 19 congregations within the Presbytery. Through a rich repertoire of Western and African choral pieces, the ensemble captivated the audience and showcased the diversity and beauty of church music.

Held under the theme, "Holy Spirit, Breathe On Us," the concert was organized as a fundraising initiative aimed at acquiring musical instruments to strengthen music ministry within the Presbytery.

Speaking at the close of the event, the President of PECA Mezam South Presbytery, Madam Musong Queenter, expressed her satisfaction with the success of the concert. She extended appreciation to the guest ensembles, NACOMEC Bamenda and PECA Mezam, for their outstanding performances and support. She also assured participants and music lovers that similar concerts would be organized in the future to further promote choral excellence and fellowship within the Presbytery.

The Trinity Choir of Presbyterian Church Azire has welcomed two new members into its ranks during a special admission service held at the congregation on Sunday 5 July 2026.

Delivering the sermon, Rev. Achah Gerald, Parish Pastor of PC Azire and Presbyterial Secretary of Mezam South Presbytery, reminded Christians that serving God requires sacrifice, commitment, and dedication to His work.

The ceremony was attended by officials of the Trinity Choir Association (TRICA) from both the Presbytery and zonal levels, alongside church members and well-wishers who came to support the newly admitted choristers.

The event concluded with a fundraising session and moments of fellowship and entertainment at the church's Multipurpose Hall.
