**Report* of the First Contact and Community Awareness Visit By Members of the Cameroon Muslim Community Development Association (CMCDA).
Friday, 2nd February, 2024, a delegation of members of the executive and resource people of the CMCDA made its first outing. Foumban was his first destination. Leaving Bamenda at 5 a.m., the delegation arrived in Bafoussam at 7:30 a.m. where she took a break for breakfast, before continuing their journey which will take them to Foumban. Arriving at 9:30 a.m., the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the SDO of Noun division punctuated by an interview and family picture. The delegation led by His Majesty Brigadier General Housseini Djibo, Head of the Muslim Community of Yaoundé 7 will continue its mission at the Palace of the Sultan King of Bamoums at 10 a.m. Received by His Royal Highness, Nji Molouh Saidou, second deputy to the Sultan and the head of the cabinet cumulatively head of protocol, NJI JEREMI, they will be installed in the apartment provided for this purpose. After the usual pleasantries, a working session will follow with these two dignitaries appointed for the occasion.
At 1:45 p.m., the Sultan will make his exit. It's time to go to the mosque for Friday prayers. The Sultan and th
his host delegation will move together as recommended by the sunnah, to take part. Once the prayer is over, the Sultan and his guests will return to the Palace, through the rhythm of fantasia and over acclamations of some and ululations of others. On the palace esplanade, a traditional ceremony full of sounds and colors was reserved for the delegation. At 2:45 p.m., Sultan FORIFOUN MBOMBO MOHAMMED NABIL momentarily interrupted the parade, to speak face to face with General HOUSSEINI DJIBO Chief of Muslim community of Yaoundé 7, the Sarki of Bamenda and Barister Yunus Karimu Boli, the National President of CMCDA. Noun division was not chosen at random, said the President of CMCDA. It is the capital of unity in diversity.
The King not only gave the delegation an exceptional welcome but also praised the initiative. However, as a knowledgeable man, he also provided wise advice to his guests. Fortunately, this advice did not fall on deaf ears. Finally, he reassured the President of his support for all initiatives aimed at consolidating peace and well-being of populations. He accepted the project and invited the President to come back and see him as soon as the observations noted were updated.
The Sultan has decided to show his guests around the museum which will be inaugurated in next few days. A museum built by the late King MBOMBO Njoya Ibrahim (peace to his soul) and being gradually equipped and updated by Sultan Nabil. It is full of archives from more than 200 years of history of the kingdom, well before the advent of the State of Cameroon. What most caught the attention of members of the delegation was, among other things, the first Coran received by King NJIMOLOUH Saidou, after his Islamization and the archive photos of King Bamoum's participation in the launch of the very first Islamic organization in the world.
The highlight was the honor that the king did to his hosts by acting as guide for this visit which ended at 5:10 p.m. In meantime, other members of the delegation were busy sharing and explaining the project to certain imams and Muslim dignitaries they met on site. To close the visit, a buffet was offered to the delegation, followed by the presentation of gifts to Brigadier General Housseini Djibo, head of delegation. It is at 5:45 p.m. that the delegation will take leave of the Sultan and head to Bamenda. A big thanks to the King and his people.

*REPORT OF THE MAIDEN SENSITIZATION VISIT TO FOUMBAN BY CMCDA*
The delegation of the Cameroon Muslim Community Development Association to make its first trip made it's first sensitization awareness in Foumban Noun Division on February 2, 2024. The delegation left Bamenda at 5 a.m. We reached Bafoussam at 7:30 am to meet his majesty General HOUSSEINI DJIBO where we had breakfast at his résidence.

On arrival in FOUMBAN at 9:30 am, the délégation had a brief meeting wit the SDO of the Noun Division.

The délégation headed by HRM Gen. Housseini and Sarki Hamza then proceeded to the Royal Palace of the Sultan of Bamoums at 10 am. we were received by His Royal Highness the second Deputy PM of the palace NJI BANYE" and the chief of cabinet cumulatively as chief of protocol NJI JEREMI. After the exchanges of civilities, the delegation was got into serious work with the two dignitaries cited above on how activities will unfold. And other members of the délégation got ready for the mosque.

The Sultan came out at 13 p.m. and marched to the mosque alongside his August guests for the Friday prayer.

At the palace esplanade a ceremony worthy of the name was reserved for the délégation. This included a ceremony with pump and pageantry with the Royal brass band; the leaders and woman leaders of the palace; the king's close guard; the princes; the royal cavalry or Fantasia; the royal army; and the imams of High Islamic Council of Noun.

At 14:45, Sultan NABIL had a one-on-one meeting with their Majesties respectively General HOUSSEINI DJIBO head of the Muslim community of Yaoundé 7, the Sarki of Bamenda and the National Président of CMCDA

The message to sensitise the community about the project was accepted and the chef took the opportunity to show us around their museum which will be inaugurated in the coming days. This museum is full of archives of more than 200 years of history of the kingdom and before the advent of the state of Cameroon. The ones that caught our attention are: the first Qur'an received by the king after his Islamization and the archive photos of King Bamoums participation in the launch of the very first Islamic organization in the world. We were honored since the king himself played the role of Guide during the visit of the museum. It ended at 17:10.
While the other members of the délégation were engaged in sharing and explaning the project to Some Imams and Muslim dignitaries.
