4. Ce n’est pas la destruction de Jérusalem en l’an 70.

Christ restaurera Jérusalem lorsqu’il reviendra.

5. Ce n’est pas la prédication de l’Évangile. Son retour sera soudain et unique.

6. Ce n’est pas une venue spirituelle.

7. Ce n’est pas la fondation de l’Église, qui a eu lieu pendant que Christ était sur terre.
(Matthieu 16:18 ; 2 Corinthiens 3:11 ; Éphésiens 2:19-22 ; Actes 15:13-16)

8. Ce n’est pas l’Enlèvement (voir Enlèvement et Second Avènement).

🗒️ 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝟖 :

𝐋’𝐄𝐍𝐋È𝐕𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐄𝐓 𝐋𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

Grec : parousia (G3952), présence personnelle (voir Matthieu 24:3). Cela se réfère à l’enlèvement, et non au second avènement du Christ. C’est le même terme utilisé dans 1 Thessaloniciens 3:13 ; 4:13-17 ; 5:8 ; 2 Thessaloniciens 2:7.

Ces deux venues ne doivent pas être confondues. Les Écritures qui s’appliquent à l’une ne s’appliquent pas à l’autre. Aucun passage ne présente ces deux événements comme un seul et même événement. Ces deux venues distinctes sont séparées par plusieurs années ; elles ne sont donc pas deux phases d’une seule venue.

L’enlèvement est le premier des deux événements. Ce n’est pas une venue sur la terre, mais dans les airs. Ce ne peut être le second avènement, car Christ ne vient pas alors pour habiter sur la terre et accomplir une mission comme lors de sa première venue.

Lorsque Christ rencontre les saints dans les airs, il les emmène au ciel avec lui et les présente devant le trône du Père, où ils demeurent pendant que la tribulation suit son cours sur la terre.
(1 Thessaloniciens 3:13 ; Jean 14:1-3)

Christ ne demeure pas dans les airs avec les saints après leur rencontre avec lui comme décrit dans 1 Thessaloniciens 4:13-17.

Le festin des noces et le jugement des saints ont lieu dans le ciel ; ensuite, lors du second avènement après la tribulation, Christ et les saints quittent ensemble le ciel pour descendre sur la terre.
(2 Corinthiens 5:10 ; Apocalypse 19)

L’enlèvement est le moment où Christ vient POUR les saints afin de les emmener au ciel.

Le second avènement est le moment où il vient AVEC les saints pour régner sur la terre et accomplir sa mission. Cela se produit après qu’il les ait enlevés au moins sept ans auparavant.

Le second avènement ne peut avoir lieu avant l’accomplissement complet d’Apocalypse 1:1 à 19:21, tandis que l’enlèvement peut survenir à tout moment sans qu’aucune prophétie supplémentaire ne soit accomplie.

Is it clear? Since we’re one in glory with God, We’re God: partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4).
As He is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17

As the Father has life in himself, so has He given us to to have life in ourselves (John 5:26): not in drugs… not in herbs, not in anything else. Jesus said, “… I AM THE LIFE”.

We’re THE LIFE.

The single verse that explains antisemitism:

(Mt. 24:9)

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

But also understand the following;

The Second coming of Christ is to deliver Israel (Mt. 24:29-31; 25:31-46 Zech. 14) Judgment of the nations is based on treatment of Israel (Mt. 25:31-46)

So when you succumb to incitement to hate Israel, you should know what you’re up against!!!

5. It is called "he" (2Th. 2:7).

6. It will be removed from the earth before the second coming (2Th. 2:7-8).

7. It will not be here when Christ comes to destroy Antichrist (2Th. 2:7-8).

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬:

1. Governments (Rom. 13:1-7 1Pet. 2:13)

2. The Holy Spirit (Jn. 16:7-15)

3. The church (Mt. 5:13; 1Cor. 2:15-16 Eph. 6:12-18 2Cor. 10:4-7)

The hinderer of lawlessness must be the one that will be taken out of the world before Antichrist can be revealed (2Th. 2:6-8). Will governments be taken out of the world? No, because Antichrist reigns over many kingdoms (Dan. 7:24; 11:40-45), and other kings reign over the rest of the earth all during the time the hinderer of lawlessness is removed (Rev. 11:15; 16:13-16). Will it be the Holy Spirit? No, for He will be here all through the tribulation and forever (Jn. 14:16 Acts 2:16-21 Rev. 12:17 with Rev. 19:10; Zech. 12:10-13:1). Multitudes will be saved by the Holy Spirit during the tribulation, as now (Acts 2:16-21; 12:5,17; 15:2-4; 20:4-6). So it must be the church. The church will be raptured before Antichrist comes and this is the only one of the hinderers of lawlessness that will be removed from the earth (1Th. 4:16).

What does it tell you about the role of the church in the world?

With such an understanding, should the church operate? Passively or intentionally? In unity or division? Proactively or apathetically?

Let all believers everywhere arise and take charge! Let the church arise - let the church ⛪️ continue to war a good warfare:

We speak life across nations, we speak delight in the law of the Lord. (Psalms 1:2), We speak justification on all men (Romans 5:17-18).

We del declare reconciliation to the divine in Jesus name:

“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

We baptize all nations in the name of Hod the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit: they observe the divine the fullness of divinity - they’re complete in Jesus (Col 2:9-10).

As God’s church, operating in and ordained in the fullness of divinity (Col 2:9-10) and divine authority and assignment (Matthew 28:18-20, John 5:26), we have declared it so.

Time of the Second Coming
1. Immediately after the tribulation (Mt. 24:29; 25:31; Rev. 11:1--Rev. 19:21)

2. At the beginning of the Millennium (Rev. 19:11-21; 20:1-10)

3. After Antichrist reigns 3 1/2 years (Rev. 13:5; 19:11-21 2Th. 2:7-8)

4. At the end of this age (Mt. 13:38-43,47-50; 24:3,29-31; 25:31-46)

5. After ten kingdoms are formed inside the old Roman empire (Dan. 2:44-45; 7:23-24 Rev. 13:1-18; 19:11-21)

6. In the days of terrible moral conditions as in the days of Lot and Noah (Mt. 24:37-51 Lk. 17:22-27 2Tim. 3:1-13; 4:1-4 2Pet. 2; Jude)

7. After the church age (2Th. 2:7-8 Acts 15:13-18 Jude 1:14; Zech. 14:5)

8. When Jerusalem is surrounded by armies and half the city is taken (Zech. 14:1-5,14-21 Joel 3)

10. After all of Rev. 4-19 is fulfilled (Rev. 19:11-21; 20:1-10)

11. At the time Satan is bound before the Millennium (Rev. 20:1-7)

12. When Israel is restored and converted and Christ takes the throne of David to begin His reign over Israel forever (Isa. 9:6-7 Hos. 3:4-5 Lk. 1:32-33 Ezek. 36:23-28; 37:16-28)

Fact of the Second Coming
Eight Things It Is Not:

1. Not the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. This was another Comforter, not Jesus (Jn. 14:16-26; 15:26; 16:7-15).

2. Not conversion (Mt. 18:3; Jn. 3:1-8 Acts 3:19; 26:18; Jas. 5:19-20).

3. Not death which takes place among men every minute (Jas. 2:26; 1Cor. 15:26).

4. Not the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70 (Lk. 21:20-24). Christ restores Jerusalem when He comes (Zech. 14:1-21).

5. Not the preaching of the gospel. His coming is suddenly and only once (Mt. 24:27-51; 25:31-46 2Th. 1; Rev. 19).

6. Not a spiritual coming (Zech. 14; Mt. 24:29-31 2Th. 1; Rev. 19).

7. Not the founding of the church which took place while Christ was here (Mt. 16:18; 2Cor. 3:11; Eph. 2:19-22 Acts 15:13-16).

8. Not the rapture (see Rapture and Second Coming)

Notes 🗒️ on Point 8:

Rapture and Second Coming
Greek: parousia (G3952), personal presence (note, Mt. 24:3). This refers to the rapture, not the second coming of Christ. It is the same as in 1Th. 3:13; 4:13-17; 5:8; 2Th. 2:7.

These two comings should not be confused. The scriptures that apply to one do not apply to the other. Not one passage refers to both events as if they were one. These two distinct comings are separated by several years, so they aren't two stages or phases of one coming.

The rapture is the first of the two comings, not a coming to earth but in the air. It could not be the second coming because Christ does not come to the earth to live here and fulfill a mission as He did at the first coming. When Christ meets the saints in the air He takes them back to heaven with Him and presents them before the Father's throne where they remain during the time the tribulation is running its course on the earth (1Th. 3:13; Jn. 14:1-3). Christ does not remain in the air with the saints when they meet Him as in 1Th. 4:13-17.

The marriage supper and the judgment of saints take place in heaven, then at the second coming after the tribulation Christ and the saints leave heaven together to come down to the earth (2Cor. 5:10 Rev. 19). The rapture is the time Christ comes for the saints to take them to heaven.

The second coming is the time He comes to the earth to live here and fulfil a mission. This is the time He comes from heaven with the saints, having raptured them at least seven years before. The second coming cannot take place until all of Rev. 1:1-19:21 is fulfilled while the rapture can take place any moment without anything being fulfilled.

Scriptures on the Rapture--Christ's Coming FOR the Saints:

1. Pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things ... and to stand before the Son of man (Lk. 21:34).

2. In My Father's house are many mansions ... I go to prepare a place for you ... I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (Jn. 14:1-3).

3. We shall not all sleep (die physically), but we shall all be changed. In a moment ... at the last trump ... the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we (the living) shall be changed ... put on immortality ... then ... death is swallowed up in victory (1Cor. 15:51-56).

4. Christ loved the church ... that He might present it to Himself (Eph. 5:25-27).

5. From whence (heaven) also we look for ... Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body (Php. 3:11,20-21 2Cor. 5:1-9).

6. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven ... the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air (note on earth, to go back to heaven with Him; 1Th. 4:13-18; 2:19; 3:13; 5:9,23).

7. We beseech you ... by our gathering together unto Him ... until he be taken out of the way (2Th. 2:1,7-8, notes).

8. When Christ ... shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory (Col. 3:4; 1Jn. 2:28; 3:2; 1Pet. 5:4).

9. Be patient ... unto the coming of the Lord... until He receive the early and latter rain (Jas. 5:7-8).

Scriptures on the Second Coming--Christ's Coming WITH the Saints:

1. One like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought Him near before Him. And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages shall serve Him (Dan. 2:44-45; 7:13-14,18,27).

2. Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations ... His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which ... shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west ... the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with Thee (Zech. 14:1-5,9,16-21).

3. Immediately after the tribulation ... then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (Mt. 24:29-31).

4. When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory. And before Him shall be gathered all nations (Mt. 25:31-46).

5. When the Lord shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God (2Th. 1:7-10; 2:8).

6. The Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment upon all ... that are ungodly (Jude 1:14-15).

7. He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him ... all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him ... the armies of heaven followed Him upon white horses (Rev. 1:7. See Rev. 19:11-21; 20:1-3 Isa. 63:1-6 Joel 3).
