Corban Baptist church yesterday witnessed the baptism of its 5th batch of converts. The service was also animated by thanksgiving by the newly baptized, successful candidates in this year's certificate examinations and those born in the month of September .

Stewardship of service.
Colossians 3:23-24.
God demands of us to do our best in every service we offer as from the soul not to please humans like our pastor, deacon, wing leader, the church, our bosses at our job sites etc but as unto the lord who holds the eternal reward for our service. He therefore is our supervisor so whom we are accountable for the quality of service we each offer. This will mean we have the Christian stewardship responsibility to excell in all we do and therefore there is no room for laziness and bringing of shame to the name of the lord Jesus our supervisor. Are you a good steward at your service?

What kind of steward are you? Remember that all we are and have is God's and we are only stewards, care takers who will give an account to God how we took care of ourselves and his property and business.

👉🏼God needs a place where he can commune with his people.
👉🏼He need people who will give willingly their material needs for the building of his Tabernacle of meeting
👉🏼God requires you to give for the tabernacle because he owns everything and has only made you manager
👉🏼Money is what in our world will help us to be able to build a tabernacle of meeting for the Lord. Our untimate is to have a place of meeting with our God not money.
👉🏼When God gives a vision he makes it demanding so we can see it as a challenge and and all engage to be able to achieve it easily.
👉🏼We are God's primary source of income.

Corban Baptist church now has a Gospel Drama Ministry. The members of this ministry were awarded certificated of participation after a one week training in the Foundation Training Program of Gospel Drama Arts that took place in Corban Baptist Church organized in collaboration with the Gospel Drama Institute of Cameroon. The certificates were issued on Sunday August 14 2022

Passion Week Summary.
Theme: Praying my way out of bo***ge.
Day 1: Luke 22:39-40. Jesus went further away from his disciples and prayed earnestly and was strengthened by God when the time for him to start the journey to the cross had come.
The christian's victory over bo***ge comes from God alone through the secrete place of prayer.
Day 2: Hebrews 5:7. Jesus prayed to God who was able to save him. In his humanity, Jesus was weak as we are but recognized only God could save him.
when we recognize that only God can save us out of bo***ge we will devote time to pray fervently to him for our deliverance.
Day 3: Matthew 27:50-54. At Jesus' death the 'Resurrection of the saints Part I' took place and the guards took note that he was "truly the Son of God".
Jesus died to resurrect the dead situations in your life. Sin is the hindrance and when you appropriate the death of Jesus for your sins in repentance and accepting him as your lord and savior, that bo***ge of sin is broken and your life revived into a new life(New creature).
*Day 4. 2Samuel 24:28-23. David bought a threshing floor from Araunah on which he built an altar(place of encounter with God) to the Lord for he resolved that he will not give to the lord what costs him nothing (even though he was offered the place for free) and the plague was taken away from Isreal.
The prayers we make when we make sacrifices to the lord with bring us prosperity and will heal us.
Day 5. Good Friday. Genesis 27:37- 40. Isaac prophesied servitude of Esau to his brother Jacob and difficult times for Esau who was always going to be T war with his brother but also promised him that the day he breaks from his anher and hatred for his brother, the yoke will be broken off his neck and he will be free of his brother Jacob.
When we become restless of the yoke of sin upon us or challenging situations in our lives and break off from the we become free. In Christ our yookes of bo***ge are broken. He broke that of sin on the cross.

Synopsis of Palm Sunday Message.
- Topic and text: The Lord needs them now. Matthew 21:1-11.
Preacher: Pastor Chah Ezekiel
*The Lord owns everything (Psalms 24:1-2), even you and wants you to release them to him. This command reveals Jesus' authority as the King, Lord and Mesaiah at this time when he publicly makes known that he is the savior. He has the authority over you and wants to use you to meet his needs so he can inturn bless you.
* The owner gladly surrendered his donkey to Jesus in recognition of his authority. this is a mark of a true disciple- even unconditional obedience. Jessus is asking us to release our talents, service, finances etc because he needs them. We can only do so if we truely love him and the result is an unlucking of our treasure house of blessings
* Prophesy was fulfilled through human beings(Zachariah 9:9-19). Humans are the means by which God fulfills his prophesies. Has Jesus walked into your heart? God want people to praise him releasing thier all(donkey, spread palms, leaves and clothes and shouts of praise) and this expectation is of believers in Christ Jesus. We cannot release them if we do not have Jesus in our hearts. only children of God have a legitimate right to celebrate Palm Sunday.
Jesus wants to have his way in your sphere of influence and to establish his place in your life and community. Will you release what he wants and is asking of you? He works through humans and needs your life, spiritual gifts and all your earthly possessions. Release them now because the Lord needs them.
