HOW TO PROPHESY LIKE APOSTLE SULEIMAN - PROPHET KEVIN 🔥
Yesterday, I saw a flyer shared by Prophet Kevin’s media team. A few hours later, I began receiving messages and calls from people who, like myself, felt uncomfortable with the topic.
Some months back, I was bullied online and offline by some of Prophet Kevin's sons and followers who thought I was attacking him. Even after I cleared those doubts, I still haven't received an apology from any of them. I don't necessarily expect one, as I understand the defensive nature of "camp operations."
Regarding the subject matter, the program flyer itself seemed to project a man rather than the Gospel. Though I fully support the concept of a "School of the Prophets" as seen in 1 Kings 19 and 2 Kings 2, I believe it is risky to promote such an institution in a way that appears to idolize a specific Man of God.
In 1 Corinthians 14:1, Scripture encourages Christians to eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially prophecy. This is why many - especially young people choose to attend prophetic schools. However, a School of the Prophets should not be about teaching people how to "invent" words from God; but, it should focus on how to listen, discern, and communicate what they receive from God with accuracy and humility.
Though we are taught to model ourselves after great Kingdom icons just as Paul suggests in 1 Corinthians 11:1, we must be careful not to present it in a way that makes a human the ultimate standard.
2 Corinthians 10:12 warns against using other people as our benchmark. In Acts 14:14–15, when the crowds at Lystra tried to treat Paul and Barnabas as gods, they tore their clothes and shouted: "Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you." This clearly demonstrates that Christ must always be projected above any man in every Kingdom presentation.
It is perfectly acceptable to reference those who inspire our spiritual journeys. However, we must caution onlookers who, out of excitement or immaturity, might see a man as the "source" rather than the consecrated life of Christ. We must prevent people from thinking that access to a Man of God is a substitute for direct spiritual access to God.
Now back to God's servant, Prophet Kevin; I followed the livestream yesterday and learned a great deal:
Prophet Kevin is exceptionally sound in the Scriptures. He is undoubtedly one of the Anglophone pastors with a firm, undeniable grip on the Word. I respect him deeply for this. Furthermore, he possesses a genuine burden to see the Church in Cameroon advance and has a clear will to push his spiritual sons and daughters forward in ministry.
He also honors the patriarchs of Cameroon. I believe this ongoing prophetic school will evaluate several Kingdom figures, not just his own father, Apostle Suleman.
I know some individuals were expecting me to speak negatively against Prophet Kevin, but I am sorry to disappoint you. Prophet Kevin is a national treasure, and we must protect our own. That said, I look forward to following the rest of the teaching series —first for my personal development, and second for my final analysis.
WE CELEBRATE PROPHET KEVIN! Type AMEN to receive it 🙏 Share to bless someone.
