How to Know the Will of God

BIBLE MEDITATION:
“If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
John 15:7

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Do you want to know the will of God in your life?

Here’s a test: how much time do you spend reading the Bible? Do you think God really believes we want to know His will when we don’t take even 15 minutes a day to read the one book above all books that God has specifically written to show you His will, to reveal His will to you, to unfold His will to you?

Your first step in knowing His will is the surrender principle—surrendering our will to His. Your second step is the scripture principle. Read His word, meditate upon it, share it, and study it. When you bow to His will and read His will, you’ll know His will.

ACTION POINT:
Commit to read God’s Word at least 15 minutes a day for 30 days. When the month is over, re-evaluate what you have learned and ask God to help you be obedient to daily Bible reading from this day forward

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of leadership you have given to our pastor. It is a holy calling. It’s a calling to watch over himself and the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made him overseer. Zoe Temple has been bought with the blood of your son, on the cross. The responsibility you have given to our pastor is awesome. He too is tempted and tried by the enemy. He has many responsibilities be it in his family or in the community and so it is our prayer that he would be kept from the evil one and that you would empower him in all areas so that out of his fullness he would share the message of the gospel boldly. Help our pastor this week as he searches the Word and Your will for the congregation. Will you grant him the health and strength he needs to share your message in humility and with clarity always. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Father Lord, loose Your angels to go and create favour for me before my boss and other members of my department.

I bind spirits in all the personnel who would try to use evil against me, including lying, gossip and slander and opinionated spirits in the name of Jesus.

Father, loose Your angels to go and create favour with my boss and to secure my position in the name of Jesus.

I receive power to fight the enemy and drive him back in my life, job, finances and home in the name of Jesus.

Let every decision taken on my case be completely favorable to me in Jesus’ name.
