Has your pastor ever dashed you money?👯♂️
It is Pastors Appreciation Week 🤗❤️
And it draws my attention back to the first time my pastor patronized me.
It was on a Sunday morning after service. I had come with footwears to sell, and Daddy was in a hurry to meet his elders in the office because he was busy attending to some members. As he passed by, he asked, “Na sayarwa ne?” I said, “Yes Daddy.” Then he asked, “Do you have my size? Let me patronize you.”
I said, “Yes Daddy.” I noticed they were already waiting for him, so I told him I would give Aisha to take it home for him.
The following Sunday after service, he called me and gave me the money, insisting that I should count it. After counting, there was no ₦1,000.
In my mind, I was like, “He tried, because I was even planning to give him the ₦1,000 discount.” 😂
The following Sunday again, he called me and said, “Let me give you your remaining balance.”
I was shocked and said, “Nooo Daddy, ka bari kawaii…” 😂 But he insisted.
To cut the story short, he didn’t just give me my remaining balance ooo… he gave me moneeeyyy! 😭🤗
I was so confused. I asked, “Do you want additional footwear, Sir?” 😂
He said, “No. I want to bless your business with this.”
I was so emotional. I felt seen. I felt encouraged. At the same time, I was amazed that the pastor I was supposed to be giving to was the one giving to me. 🤗❤️
Today, I want to say thank you, Sir, for your act of love, kindness, and service.
Thank you for supporting not just my business, but also for encouraging me when I needed it.
May the Lord bless you abundantly and replenish your pocket. May you live long in good health to enjoy the fruits of your labour. May God continue to strengthen you and your ministry.
I celebrate you, Sir. Happy Pastors Appreciation Week! ❤️🙏🏿
