Dear Brothers & Sisters,

JazakAllahu Khairan to everyone who came out to today’s BBQ. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to spend some time together as a community.

Events like these are important for bringing our community together, building friendships, and giving us all an opportunity to get to know one another better.

Inshallah, we are working on organising more events throughout the fall and winter months, so please keep an eye out for further announcements.

A special JazakAllahu Khairan to our sisters for all their hard work in preparing the food, and to all our volunteers who helped with cooking the burgers, setting up, serving, and cleaning up afterwards. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated.

May Allah Almighty accept everyone’s hard work, generosity, and donations towards the Masjid, and may He continue to bless our community and bring us together in goodness.

We would like to share two important community updates with you:

🕌 BOWMANVILLE MASJID COLLECTION – TOMORROW AT JUMMAH

Inshallah, brothers from Bowmanville Masjid will visit our community tomorrow during Jummah to collect donations for their masjid.

We kindly ask everyone to give generously and support our brothers and sisters in their efforts. Every contribution, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated and will help support their work.

🕌 JUMMAH PRAYER – TOMORROW

Please note that Jummah prayer will take place as usual at the Masjid in Woodstock.

🍔 MAOW COMMUNITY BBQ – SATURDAY

We are also pleased to remind everyone that our MAOW Community BBQ will be taking place this Saturday afternoon at the Masjid in Woodstock.

It will be a great opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy some food, and spend time with family and friends.

📢 IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

We hope you are all well and enjoying the summer.

Inshallah, tomorrow during Jummah, we will be holding a special collection in support of Pickering Masjid.

Pickering Masjid urgently needs to raise $500,000 by the end of October to complete the purchase of their masjid building. Today, they find themselves in a situation very similar to the one we were in last year.

Many of you will know that the wider Muslim community across the GTA was incredibly generous in supporting us here in Woodstock.

Without their kindness and assistance, we would not have the blessing of our own masjid today. This is our opportunity to return that generosity and support another community as they strive to establish a permanent home for worship.

We kindly encourage every family to contribute whatever they can. No donation is too small, and if many people give according to their means, together we can make a meaningful difference.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us that "The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small."
