St Peter's Maronite Knights of Columbus Council #13335 had its yearly Christmas Food Drive with our Priests, parishioners, and council members all participating in this worthy cause for the needy. Pictured here are DD #10 Br Michel Sassine (who organizes this council Food Drive every year), along with our Grand Knight, GK Dr Arshad Mirza as well as one of our newest council members, Br Rami Halabia, all working together for this Food Drive. Ten local families received various canned foods and a Basket. These ten Baskets were kindly donated by Amica Windsor. Great job Brother Knights!

On October 18,2020, K of C St. Peter's Maronite Council #13335 participated in the Walk For Life at the public side walk on Tecumseh Rd. East, Windsor, ON in front of Metropolitan Hospital. Four members of the council participated: Br. Knight Deacon John Shiha, Br. Knight Michel Sassine(DD District 10), Br. Knight Dr. Arshad Mirza(Grand Knight) and Br. Knight Emad Al-Samani. Our participation shows the support of Knights of Columbus for Life in all of its stages.

The Annual Knights of Columbus Hospice Fundraiser Dinner could not occur this year due to the Covid pandemic. So, several of the members of the St Peter's Maronite Knights of Columbus Council #13335 (Windsor) pooled their donations into one council cheque for $800 presented to Windsor Hospice on November 10-2020. See the nice pictures of this cheque presentation herein.

Join us for the special event, Father Michael McGivney, the founder of the Knights of Columbus, will be beatified during a special Mass Oct. 31 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford.

Our K of C Council has a children/youth Basketball Freethrow Competition set up for Saturday October 17-2020 at 1pm, for the ages of 9-14 at the outside Basketball court of the school located at the corner of Langlois and Giles (accross from the North side of Lanspeary Park (corner of Langlois/Giles). Due to Covid-19, all persons attending (including children) must wear a mask. Sanitizing hands will also be required. We look forward to seeing you there. Registration forms will be available there.
