This past Sunday, we had a truly special evening with Major O, who served as a Major in the Israeli Air Force.

We are so grateful to Major O & his family for coming to Whistler and sharing his personal experience with our community. His words left us with a deep and meaningful message about the strength of unity.

This past Friday night, we shared a beautiful Shabbat dinner, joined by guest speaker Rabbi Golan Amar from Jerusalem.

Rabbi Golan shared his personal experiences as an educator of students who are currently serving in the IDF speaking about the challenges and worries, as well as the incredible pride, strength, and triumphs that come with supporting a generation of young people on the front lines.

As a local member summed up the evening
“Good for my soul and good for my belly.” ❤️

Registration for Hebrew School 2026–2027 is officially OPEN!

At Chabad Hebrew School, we’re creating so much more than a classroom, we’re building a warm, welcoming community where every Jewish child can learn, grow, and connect with their heritage in a fun, meaningful, and engaging way.

With engaging Hebrew reading, Jewish studies, hands-on projects, art, games, music, cooking, and lasting friendships, students develop a genuine love for Judaism while exploring Jewish values, traditions, and identity in an environment where every child feels valued.

Program Details
* 📍 Location: Whistler
* 👧👦 Ages: Boys & Girls, 3–12 years
* 🗓 Schedule: Mondays | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
* 📅 Classes Begin: Monday, November 2
* ✨ 20–22 classes throughout the year, with no classes on Jewish or statutory holiday.

Featuring Guest Speaker Rabbi Golan Amar

Good food, great company, and the warmth of Shabbat. Join us for a beautiful summer dinner with friends, family, locals, and visitors. Enjoy delicious food, fine w**e, meaningful conversation, and a welcoming Shabbat experience in the heart of Whistler.

This special evening will feature Rabbi Golan Amar, a Jerusalem educator and sofer at Himmelfarb High School. Rabbi Amar is writing a Sefer Torah together with his students in memory of alumni who were killed in the war following October 7. He will share his personal and inspiring story of education, loss, resilience, and hope in Israel.
