The WainNaz Garden will be monitored again this year by camera. We hope that by people knowing this, it will deter garden vandalism & theft as there has been in the past. It is reinstalled and the subscription is activated.

Through the winter, our donated water tanks had the hose and nozzle stolen off, costing $150 in supplies to repurchase, and volunteer time to pick up parts and install.

Smile and wave at us when you are at the garden doing the good things like w**ding, watering, harvesting! We see you and appreciate all the help!!

We have extra seed potatoes available at Garden. They are in a box on top of the picnic table.
Please bring a container if you’d like to take some to plant in your garden.

*if you could take a few minutes to water the tomato plants while you are there it would be GREATLY appreciated!!

WainNaz Community Garden planting night complete!! And a note to rememeber, 32°C today! ☀️

With a great team of 11, we got it all planted in just one hour. So thankful for the many hands that came together tonight. Good friends old and new, made for a wonderful evening and a true team effort.

We now need as much help as possible from the community, watering daily so the seeds will germinate. There is never “too much” watering! Please stop in and lend a hand.

👩‍🌾Volunteer teams needed!🧑🏽‍🌾

We need your help, the WainNaz community garden is looking for groups/families/businesses/individuals to sign up for w**d and water shifts throughout the summer.

What you do:
⁃ During the early weeks daily watering is all that is required, and w**ding.
⁃ As the weeks go on, light w**ding and watering is needed.
⁃ All tools, and watering cans are supplied and set out for volunteers to use.

Welcome to our 5th year of the WainNaz Community Garden!

The community garden is 100% volunteer organized and ran. The garden is planted as a whole garden, maintained and watered throughout the spring and summer by anyone and everyone willing to lend a hand. All produce in the garden is available to anyone in the community to pick and enjoy.

We are looking for a volunteer willing to deep till the garden in time for our planting date on May 20. Ideally, garden would be tilled 1-a few days prior, weather dependent.

Please message if you would volunteer your time and equipment with 3 pt hitch tractor/tiller combo.

A big thank you to all the helping hands who pitched in to clean out the garden this fall. The last of it was tidied up this week, and it’s now ready to rest for the winter.

🍂The WainNaz community garden season has come to a close, and now it’s time to tidy things up. We’re asking if any of our garden patrons could lend a hand next week by spending just 10–15 minutes cleaning out a portion of the garden.

Everything must go! Please take plants and remains to the wooded area beside the garden, and kindly carry them far enough in so they’re out of sight.

Just as we’ve shared in the garden’s rewards, let’s also share in the fall work. Even a few minutes of help from each person will make a big difference in getting the job done. Thank you for your support!

Garden friends, the bean row is ready to be pulled! If you’d like to lend a hand, we’d love your help. The plants can be placed in the bush area beside the garden to naturally decompose. Thank you for being part of keeping our garden growing beautifully!

“A big thank you to WainNaz Garden for providing such a beautiful and peaceful setting for a family birthday celebration this afternoon. We loved the shaded picnic area, the wooded trails, and the fun our guests—both kids and adults—had watering the garden. It made for a truly lovely afternoon!”

*Guests, feel free to move the picnic tables to whatever area is best for you, thank you for returning them to their regular place once done.
