Every reader of the Bible, who does not overlook the chapter of Acts 13, will instantly keep the Jewish and Christian Sabbath. Acts 13 makes it unequivocally clear that the Weekly Sabbath is in full force in our day and age, because it took place nearly two decades after the Resurrection.

Unfortunately, the existence of Seventh-Day-Adventism was and still is one of the biggest roadblocks for the acceptance of the Weekly Sabbath. Many Christians are very quick in speaking against the Weekly Sabbath, by declaring it a '7th Day Adventist spleen' and mentally or verbally throwing someone who does obey 10 out of 10 commandments into a box with Seven-Day-Adventists, a false dichotomy very often employed today by those who want to quickly intimidate and silence (either consciously or reflexively) those defending the biblical teaching.

The victory of the enemy is not only that he misled -tens of millions- into that false religion, the victory is much rather that he misled -hundreds of millions- into not following the Weekly Sabbath by creating the most distorted version of the Weekly Sabbath possible, where SDA's even surpass Pharisees in the number of 400+ extra-biblical rules. We can safely assume that much more believers than the SDA ever had members, would obey the Weekly Sabbath if the SDA would not exist.

It's probably fair to say that biblically sound giving should reflect roughly this balance. If you are currently giving 90%, or even 100% in any one of these four categories, you should prayerfully reconsider your focus — moving away from human traditions and toward a biblical orientation.

Genesis 3:16 is usually mistranslated with:

And to the woman He said: "I will greatly increase your pains and your moaning - in pains you will bring forth children. And toward your husband will be your desire [or submission, recourse], and he will rule over you."

Yet the correct translation must be:

"And to the woman He said: "I will greatly increase your pains and your moaning - in pains you will bring forth children. And against your husband will be your averseness [ΑΠΟϹΤΡΟΦΗ], and he will master you."

The Greek word 'ΑΠΟϹΤΡΟΦΗ, apostrophe' is the noun of the verb 'ΑΠΟϹΤΡΕΦⲰ, apostrepho' (Strong's G654, to turn away), which in turn is composed of 'apo' and 'strephein':

G575 ΑΠΟ, apo: From, away from, of, or by. It is a primary particle indicating separation, departure, or origin in literal or figurative senses (such as place, time, or relation).

G4762 ϹΤΡΕΦⲰ, strepho. To turn, twist, turn around, reverse, change, or convert (literally or figuratively).

The literal meaning is thus very clear - it is 'turning away' or 'a turning back/aside'. Nouns which closely reflect this 'turning away' and are suitable in the context of Genesis 3:16, are thus: Averseness, Grudgingness, Indisposition, Reluctance, Revolting.

It is also very clear from the context itself that there cannot be another ' 'solution' ', because the context is 4 times negative (pains / moaning / pain at childbirth / he will master you). To suddenly inject in the midst of this punishment a rather positive 'desire' or to twist its translation in Gen 4:7 to mean 'recourse / submission / inclination', does simply not fit neither the etymology of the word nor the context in both verses.

And to dispel any remaining doubt, we read in Jer 6:19 "Hear, O earth: Behold, I will bring evils upon this people, even the fruit of their rebellions [same Greek noun]; for they have not heeded my words, and they have rejected my law." and in Jer 8:4 "Wherefore has this people turned away [same Greek verb] with a shameless revolting [same Greek noun] ...

Pentecostals teach that the 'Baptism of spirit and fire' is an experience, requirement and effectively a sacrament (!) which is required to be received apart from water baptism. In stark contrast, the Bible teaches that all genuine believers receive the baptism of the SPIRIT when they are born again, and that it is not a special experience for only a few who happen to be part of a certain group of believers.

There is also no agreement within Pentecostal circles how and at what stage this baptism ought to occur. Today's Pentecostals teach that the 'Baptism of spirit and Fire' could be expected or unexpected, during public or private prayer, with or without the laying on of hands.

Decisive for understanding this extra-biblical concept is the fact (which is often overlooked) that their version of the 'Baptism of the spirit' is based on an evil twist / gross misunderstanding of the 'Baptism of Fire', which is thus understood as synonymous with the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT!

The word 'fire' is used 83x in the NT, and it mostly refers to judgment by fire. The biblically described 'Baptism in Fire' is equally for perdition and occurs only in our future! It will burn up the chaff (wicked) and will purify those vessels of honor (of gold and silver) for His holy purposes (see also Luk 12:49-50, Mal 3:1-4).

A movement which converts a future punishment into a spiritual achievement and makes the same their core doctrine, can only be described as evil from its inception.

Yet this movement goes much further than the Baptism of Fire. Fire is a symbol included in many of their church logos. Many revival conferences are titled 'Fire Conferences' and organizations are given fire-themed names such as 'Burn 24/7'. Churches like Bethel church organize strange events called 'Fire Tunnels', where they form two lines and have others walk through that tunnel while shouting 'fire' which supposedly re-fills them with the 'spirit' and gives them a 'special anointing' through a 'touch from G-d'. Elsewhere their prophets are found to shout the word 'fire' from the stage, supposedly releasing the power of the 'spirit' over the entire crowd.
