September 6, 2026 Bulletin, 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Scriptural Reflection
“You, son of man, I have appointed watchman for the house of Israel…” - Ezekiel 33:7
Many of us are generous with our gifts. However, many of us are not generous in proportion to the gifts we have been given. How often do we give at the minimum level required? Remember, the Lord calls us to nurture and develop our gifts and to give back with increase. He calls us to be generous with all the gifts, especially the one that means the most to us.

Dear Parishioners,
Along with this week’s bulletin, we’ve included the Prayer for Renewal in the Archdiocese of Vancouver, which Archbishop Smith has asked all parishes to incorporate into their Sunday Masses.
As the Archdiocesan Renewal Process continues, we are invited to unite our hearts in a common spirit of prayer. This Renewal Prayer calls upon the Holy Spirit to refresh our parishes, clergy, schools, stewardship, liturgical life, and missionary discipleship. Renewal is ultimately the Lord’s work, and true transformation begins with prayerful openness to the Spirit.
All parishes have been asked to pray the Renewal Prayer at Sunday Masses twice each month, ordinarily after the Prayer of the Faithful. We will begin this Sunday and continue every other week. Cards with the prayer are available at the back of the church, and copies will be placed in the pews in the coming weeks.
By praying this together, we remember that renewal is not simply administrative—it is a spiritual journey calling each of us to deeper holiness, discipleship, and mission.
Thank you for joining us in this prayer as we seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit for our parish and our Archdiocese.
Have a beautiful long weekend.
