Last night we welcomed six new members into our growing club! We also enjoyed a delicious dinner and fellowship. We are now 36 members! All the merrier to better serve our community.

The Stephenson District Lions Club once again hosted the annual Effective Speaking Contest at VK Greer PS.
This years winner was Jolene Hartwick who will go on to represent the school at the next round of competition in Stayner!

Special shoutout to Lion Dean Smales and Lion/Teacher Robin Mounsteven who both organized this important event which helps students gain confidence and better understand the importance of community involvement.

Congratulations Jolene and best of luck in the next round of competition! We’re so proud of all the students who participated!

40 students from V.K.Greer school had a skate party on Tuesday at our Lions' outdoor rink in Port Sydney. Just in time before the annual meltdown.

We want to invite everyone down to the Lions Port Sydney Beach Rink for some skating fun this Sunday, Feb 15th. There will be music, free hot chocolate and hot dogs as well as a warming fire.
The Port Sydney/Utterson & Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a fishing derby that day as well. Hope to see you there!
