Senior Leaders: Rev. Denise & Min. Wilton Gillard
It’s been just a few months since that chilly afternoon on Sunday, January 27, 2019 when Wilton and I were installed as the Senior Pastors of Kingdom City Church (KCC). Today, as the warmish September sun shines through my office window, I can’t help but celebrate the marvelous things that God has done. Our church is beginning to come into alignment with the “immediatelies and suddenlies” of Holy Spirit. By that I mean, God is shaping us into a community of believers who are learning that we are called to gather, equip and empower people to live the lives that God intends for them. We are teaching Christian foundations through our Living the Champion Life Group and are empowering people to live with purpose through our Destiny Discover Groups. Our intimate West & East End Life Groups which gather on the 1st,2nd, 4th & 5th Sunday of the month are transitioning from homes into community spaces; while on each the 3rd Sunday, we gather all Life Groups together at a larger Celebration Service in a central location. We are listening to God and following His leading even as He stretches us outside of our comfort zone. KCC founders- Revs Garfield and Cassandra Fray have transitioned to a broader Apostolic call while remaining members of the church on sabbatical. God is most certainly doing a new thing in all of us!
The best part of it all is knowing that God is in charge. He has entrusted us to have lasting impact on the people we minister too and we are up for the challenge! Join Us!
