"He faithfully shares Scripture with his community and leads weekly fellowship gatherings for believers."

A.L. never had the opportunity to attend school.

Yet today, he reads the Bible in his own language, shares Scripture with others, and leads weekly fellowship gatherings in his community.

For the O family serving in Karamoja, Uganda, stories like A.L.'s are a powerful reminder of why they serve.

Communities that were once resistant to the gospel are becoming more open. Doors that were once closed are opening. And local believers like A.L. are taking ownership of the gospel and shepherding their own communities.

This is the kind of impact that happens when missionaries are supported, churches are planted, and disciples are made.

Join us in celebrating what God is doing in Karamoja.

Stronger together.

The African Missionary Fund partners with African missionaries and mission agencies across Africa because we believe the Gospel advances best when the body of Christ works together.
By strengthening existing ministries and supporting those already serving, we can multiply impact, encourage missionaries, and help bring the hope of Christ to more communities.
Partnership isn't just a strategy.

It's a reflection of God's design for His Church.

Lord, may we faithfully steward the resources You have entrusted to us and use them for Your glory. May we honour You by caring well for all that You have given us. Expand our capacity so that we can support even more missionaries. Help us to use this space as a place of welcome and care. We are thankful for everything You have provided. Amen. 🌿🙏

From the director to IT, finance to personnel, everyone rolled up their sleeves for a day of caring for our office grounds.
🌱 Raking leaves
🌸 Planting flowers
✂️ Trimming hedges
🍃 Cleaning up debris

It was encouraging to see every department working side by side, serving together in a practical way.

This summer, many missionaries will be visiting the office while on home assignment. Our hope is that this space will be a place of welcome, rest, encouragement, support, and resources for each one who walks through our doors.

The church across the East African is growing rapidly, creating an exciting opportunity—and an urgent need—for well-equipped Christian leaders.

Reformed Theological College (RTC) in Uganda is seeking individuals with a passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing future church leaders. Opportunities are available for both long-term resident faculty and short-term visiting lecturers.

Faculty members serve in areas such as:
• Bible & Theology
• Early Childhood Development
• Music & Worship

More than teaching in a classroom, this role involves investing in students' spiritual growth, character development, and ministry preparation as they are equipped to serve churches and communities across the region.

If you have theological training, ministry leadership experience, teaching experience, or a heart for developing others, this could be an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

🌍 Through RTC, leaders are being equipped with biblical knowledge, godly character, and practical ministry skills to strengthen the church throughout East Africa and beyond.

Meet Brian 👋

Brian is the Program Director of the . Brian and his wife, Jessica have been serving with Africa Inland Mission and Baptist General Conference since 2014, first in Uganda and now Edmonton.

Brian helps ensure that missionary workers across Africa receive the support they need to serve effectively. He oversees funding, works closely with our partner agencies, and chairs the governance committee that helps determine how missionary funds are allocated.

He also leads many of the systems and processes that keep the fund running smoothly—from launching our new website to implementing Salesforce to better serve both donors and beneficiaries.

Whether it's managing sustainability risks, coordinating training initiatives, or helping turn ideas into action, Brian's work helps provide a strong foundation for the ministry God is accomplishing through African missionaries.

Yes.

Sometimes Christians debate where our attention should be directed. Should we serve our neighbourhoods or support mission work around the world?

The reality is that Scripture calls us to both.

Jesus commanded His followers to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). The mission was never either/or—it was always both/and.

Local mission allows us to love the people God has placed around us. Global mission invites us to join what God is doing among people and places we may never reach on our own.

A healthy church cares about the family next door and the family across the ocean.

At AIM, we've always been committed to taking the Gospel to Africa's unreached peoples. Today, many of those same peoples are coming to cities and communities around the world. Through our Borderless ministry, AIM missionaries partner with local churches to build relationships with African diaspora communities, international students, refugees, and newcomers—bringing the mission field closer than ever before.

The question isn't local or global.

The question is: How can we faithfully participate in God's mission wherever He calls us?

🌍 Meet the Wolof

Across Senegal and neighbouring countries, Wolof families begin each day surrounded by the rhythms of community life. Markets fill with conversation, neighbours gather to share news, and families work together to support one another.

The Wolof are the largest ethnic group in Senegal, with approximately 7 million people spread across West Africa and throughout the world.

Among them are parents, students, business owners, community leaders, and children — each deeply loved by God and created to know Him.

This month, join us as we pray for the Wolof people.

🙏 Pray that Wolof men, women, and children would have opportunities to hear and understand the Good News of Jesus through relationships they trust. Pray for Wolof elders to have dreams of the righteous and loving Christ, leading entire households to the kingdom.

🌍 Did you know?

Much of the mission work in Africa is driven by African workers! Yet, many face a hurdle that has nothing to do with their calling—financial barriers.

In many communities across Africa, disposable income is extremely limited. Friends and family members often cannot provide financial support. Local churches may desire to send missionaries but struggle with limited resources themselves. Traditional support-raising models that have enabled many missionaries from wealthier nations to serve are often unavailable to African believers.

The African Missionary Fund aims to empower these passionate individuals serving among unreached people across Africa. 🙏

If we are serious about mobilizing African missionaries, we must also be willing to contribute financially.

Let’s partner together and remove financial obstacles so they can share the gospel freely!

Help remove financial barriers and empower missionaries to reach communities with the gospel. 👉 https://aimamf.org/give/

Across the continent, African believers are faithfully answering God's call to share the Gospel among unreached peoples. Yet many face financial barriers that make it difficult to get to the field and remain there.

That's why the African Missionary Fund exists: to come alongside partner missionaries, helping remove obstacles so they can focus on the work God has called them to do.
Together, as the body of Christ, we have the opportunity to support, encourage, and invest in what God is doing across Africa.
