It was a deeply moving and spiritual experience as we gathered for the GCPC Stations of the Cross, coming together in a peaceful and reverent way to reflect on the passion of Jesus. As we read through each station and carried the cross in memory of the sacrifice made for our sins, the atmosphere remained one of profound prayer and contemplation. We were truly blessed to have Fr. Francis Parmar deliver a powerful message, teaching us the importance of this holy month and reminding us that the true meaning of fasting and penance is found in how we love and help one another. The event concluded beautifully with a thoughtful quiz organized by Vatsal Patel, bringing our community closer together. A sincere thank you to Alpesh Macwan and Joyel Christi for their dedicated photography services in capturing these sacred moments. May we carry the spirit of this day with us as we continue our journey of faith.

We as GCPC COMMUNITY are proud and glad to be a part of the India Day Parade at Toronto Downtown along with other vibrant Indian groups from different states. It was truly a moment of pride to represent our GCPC GROUP along with the larger Indian diaspora here in Canada.

We were also fortunate to have Consul General of India, Shri K.P. Singh, visit our team and take a keen interest in learning more about our organization, a great encouragement for all of us.

GCPC Sports Day 2025 !

We are delighted to share the highlights of our GCPC Sports Day (August 16th), celebrated alongside the Indian Independence Day (August 15th) with great pride and joy.

Our esteemed Chief Guest, Hon. Graham MacGregor, Cabinet Minister of Multiculturalism and Citizenship (Ontario Government), opened his speech warmly in Gujarati with “Kem Cho”, and emphasized peace, harmony, and mutual respect as the true values of Canadian citizenship.

We were also honored to host Mr. Don Patel, the first-ever Gujarati candidate for the Federal Election from the Conservative Party, Mr. Pathik Shukla, Director at the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists (nominated by the Ontario Government), and Fr. Telex Fernandez, Vicar General of the Diocese of Gujarat. Each shared inspiring messages—highlighting community progress, cultural pride, and spreading peace, love, and compassion.

Our senior citizens felicitated Minister Graham with a shawl, and all our distinguished guests were honored with mementos.

Mementos for Mr. Graham were presented by Vilex Parmar and Jimmy Chaklasia.

Mementos for Mr. Don Patel and Mr. Pathik Shukla were presented by Karen Macwan and Vatsal Christi.

The program was beautifully anchored by Ayana Macwan, while Sarjana Macwan introduced the dignitaries. In addition, Prakash Macwan gave a wonderful walk-through of GCPC and its various activities to all our esteemed guests. A heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by Chandravadan Macwan.

The event concluded with a special highlight, the Canada Cricket Team Captain, Mr. Saad Bin Zafar, who joined us for the awards ceremony, distributing trophies and boosting the spirit of all participants.

It was a day filled with sportsmanship, patriotism, and community bonding, a true celebration of culture, unity, and pride. 🇮🇳🇨🇦✨

GCPC Easter Celebration 2025!

What a beautiful evening of faith, joy, and community!

We began with hymns and Bible readings, followed by an inspiring skit by our young brigade and wonderful performances by the women and kids. A big thanks to Vinod Chaklasia for leading us in grace, and to everyone who helped with the delicious dinner.

The Easter Bunny brought smiles to the little ones, and the night ended on a high note with lively dance, DJing, and Garba, thanks to Vatsal Patel!

A special shoutout to Sunil Vania for securing the hall at the last minute after our original booking was canceled due to the federal election—your support made this event possible!

Thank you all for making it a memorable and joy-filled celebration!

✨ Late Post – GCPC Family Day 2025 – A Beautiful Celebration! ✨

Throwing it back to an unforgettable day at St. Andrew’s Church Hall, Etobicoke, where we celebrated Family Day with so much love, laughter, and community spirit!

The day kicked off with a soulful Gujarati Mass, followed by a super creative drawing competition by our talented little artists. The evening was buzzing with karaoke, energetic dance performances, and a scrumptious dinner with our GCPC family.

And of course… it wouldn’t be a GCPC event without Garba! We even added a sweet twist this year with a romantic couple dance on a Bollywood number that melted hearts.

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came and made this celebration so special!

Hello, GCPC Members!

As we bid farewell to the vibrant and eventful year of 2024 and welcome the promise and possibilities of 2025, we’re thrilled to share the highlights of our unforgettable Christmas and New Year celebration!

The evening began on a serene note with a heartfelt Prayer Service, setting the tone for a night filled with joy and togetherness. This was followed by inspiring speeches from our outgoing Committee Members, who handed over the reins to our newly introduced Committee Members with grace and enthusiasm.

The stage then came alive with a showcase of GCPC's talent! Our incredible GCPC kids dazzled us with soul-stirring singing, captivating dance performances, and melodic piano recitals. Not to be outdone, the adults joined in the fun—delivering delightful singing performances, and lively dance routines by the GCPC ladies.

After this vibrant entertainment, Rev. Father George shared his uplifting words in a short speech before we all indulged in a sumptuous dinner that satisfied every palate. The night culminated in high-energy celebrations as everyone hit the floor for an electrifying Garba and DJ dance session—truly dancing the night away!

Here’s to many more such memorable moments in 2025. Wishing you all a year full of happiness, health, and success!
