Warm Greetings from Nouhoum!
Dear Friends and Partners,
I bring you heartfelt greetings and deep gratitude in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
From June 16 to July 9, I had the privilege of visiting Senegal and Mali—and thanks to your prayers and support, I traveled safely and returned home to Canada full of hope and encouragement.
I want to share some exciting updates and blessings with you from our school ministry in Mali:
1. A Strong School Year: Despite ongoing instability and the spread of terrorism across the country, we completed a successful 2024–2025 school year. We praise God for His protection and provision.
2. National Math Champion! One of our Grade 3 students, Awa Dembele, placed 1st in the entire country in the national math contest! What an incredible achievement—we are so proud of her!
3. Grade 9 Success: Out of 100 Grade 9 students, 67 passed the national exam and will be moving on to Grade 10 this fall. We’re so thankful for their hard work and determination.
4. Leadership Transition: We are excited to welcome our new school principal, Rev. Pastor Barnabas Daou, who will officially begin in January 2026. We look forward to the next chapter under his leadership.
5. Honoring Mr. Malle: A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Cheickna Ezekiel Malle, who has served faithfully as our principal since the school’s opening in February 2016. His leadership and devotion have been a blessing to the school, our students, and the ministry. May God richly reward him.
6. Time with Our Team: I had meaningful times of fellowship, prayer, and planning with our teachers and school leaders. Their commitment is truly inspiring.
7. New Classrooms Underway: Construction began two weeks ago on three new classrooms—a much-needed expansion to help us serve more students!
None of this would be possible without your generous support. Thank you for standing with us in prayer, finances, and encouragement. You are making a lasting difference in the lives of children in Mali.
Please continue to pray for:
Peace and stability in Mali
The continued growth of our school ministry
The timely completion and furnishing of the new classrooms by mid-August
Thank you once again for being part of what God is doing through Grace Between Nations Ministries.
Blessings to you and your family,
