The Paris Olympic opening ceremony ad a depiction of the Last Supper... using drag queens and nudity. This, the organizers say that they wanted to present a picture of "love". Anthea Butler, MSNBC columnist say it was a depiction of the Greek god Dionysius having dinner at the table. Whatever the motivation, the presentation was insensitive and despicable. The organizers are so lacking in knowledge that they did not think using religious symbols that could be interpreted as offensive would go well with the public? Would they have chosen a scene of Mohammed with his wives as a depiction of love? I doubt it. This is an attack on the Christian faith, whether intentional or unintentional.

We will not march and protest like the world when they offend us. We will speak the truth. Sin is sin! I will not be silent. We must intercede for our world. Let us pray.

Hello FB Friends,

On Friday and Saturday of this weekend, February 11th and 12th, Ontario Youth will gather at Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Pickering, Ontario for the annual Winter Youth Crusade (check their page for details). This is a significant event on our District calendar and we should endeavour to do all we can to make it a successful event.

I am asking that we join in prayer and fasting on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of this week. You choose which day that you can fast and pray for these meetings. I will pray and fast with you.

It is very important that we depend on God for His blessings in all that we do. Please make the effort to pray and fast. Our young people need our help and support. Lets do it!

Thank you for responding. Please like and share.
