O death where is your sting? Our hope is in Jesus, crucified and raised to life on the third day. This we proclaim with confidence - for us, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Hallelujah!

We worshiped and celebrated with our brothers and sisters from Sanctuary of Mercy this morning - the other church that meets in the same building we do - and it was such a gift! Both churches led us in worship, both pastors preached, and the Spirit wove it all together.

If you’re looking for a church to worship with this Sunday +\or on Christmas Eve, you’re welcome to join us! Our kids and youth have been preparing for this Sunday for a couple months - they will lead us into worship on Sunday. Then on Wednesday at 4, we will gather around the manger and wonder at the miracle of God-in-flesh.

We will sing the old hymns (and some new), we will pray, we will reflect on the Christmas story, we will come to the Table together. And Light will shine in the darkness.

We will worship, pray, and explore some ancient promises in Isaiah, we will come to the Table, and we will wonder at what God set in motion 2000 years ago in the sending of his Son. Everyone welcome.

Stonehouse Youth had a blast collecting non-perishable food for South East Helping Hands tonight! We filled the back of Tim’s truck and needed Dexter’s truck too! What an incredible outpouring of generosity by our neighbours!

Mission Impossible in the forest for the win! Lots of smiles, laughter, running, taunting, sweat, and only a few slightly pulled hamstrings (some of us leaders - not pictured because we were already hiding)! Stonehouse Youth is off to a great start!
