South Maitland Cemetery South Maitland Cemetery is a non profit charitable organization located in Hants County, Nova Scotia. Policies

1. Families will be notified if problems arise.

Each lot sold will have an approximate size of 4' x 11' and will have the right to one casket committal or four Urn committals. Urn committal may also be combined with a casket committal.

2. Cemetery closed December 1st to April 15th each year. All other times are acceptable unless conditions do not permit.

3. Headstones and grave markers are the responsibility of the family and the suppliers of

the markers. Should any markers become dangerous or unsightly they will be dealt with by the cemetery committee.

4. Flowers and decorations placed on the graves are the responsibility of the family and will be removed when or if they become unsightly or inappropriate.

5. There shall be no large plantings around the headstones or markers as they interfere with Cemetery maintenance. Any existing plantings should be trimmed and tended by the family to ensure they do not interfere.
