🦞✨ Fishermen’s Service Tonight – All Are Welcome ✨🦞

Guarding Light Baptist Church will be holding a Fisherman’s Service this evening at 6:30 p.m.

As our local fishermen prepare to head out for the start of lobster season tomorrow, we want to gather together as a community to pray a blessing of protection, strength, and safety over each one of them.

Whether you fish, have family who fish, or simply want to stand in support of our hard-working crews, we would love to have you join us.

Let’s lift up our fishermen and ask God’s hand to guide and guard them in the days ahead.
Everyone is welcome. There will be a time of refreshments afterwards ❤️🛟🕯️

All ladies, AGES 12+, are invited to join us for a beautiful, cozy evening as we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas together. 💖

This year’s theme, “Prepare Him Room,” invites us to slow down, reflect on the wonder of Jesus’ birth, and to welcome the hope that only He brings!

🕯️ Expect an old-fashioned Christmas atmosphere — warm fellowship, festive treats, and a gentle reminder of the reason for the season.

🌟 Special Guest Speaker This Sunday! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Don Pickel and his wife, Carol, to Guiding Light Baptist Church in S**g Harbour for our evening service this Sunday, November 9th at 6:30pm.

Don and Carol have had the privilege of serving with ASSIST Canada for the past 11 years. Carol works alongside Don in his role as Director of Cuba Ministries, where together they help organize ministry teams to visit churches in Cuba, support local evangelical pastors, and coordinate ongoing aid and encouragement for believers there.

Come hear Don share about their inspiring work and how God is moving through the ministry in Cuba.
Everyone is warmly invited — we’d love to have you join us!

✨ Hey Kids….Exciting News! ✨

Guiding Light Baptist Church is kicking off our Lightkeepers Youth Group for the year on Monday, October 13th at 6:30pm! 🎉

📅 Youth group will run every Monday evening from 6:30–7:45pm and is open to all children ages 4–grade 6.

Kids will have a blast as we:
🙌 Learn about God
🎲 Play fun games
🤝 Make new friends
🍪 Enjoy yummy snacks!

Parents, you’re welcome to drop off your kids, or if your child feels more comfortable, you can stay and hang out too! On your child’s first evening, we’ll gather your phone number and any allergy information.

If you’re age 4 yrs-grade 6, this is YOUR group! Bring your energy, bring a friend, and get ready for a great time every week!

We can’t wait to see our Lightkeepers back together for another fun-filled year! 🌟

Join us for an Easter celebration at Guiding Light Baptist Church!

Easter Sunday Sunrise Service & Breakfast
7:00 am | April 20

Start your Easter morning with us as we gather to worship and reflect on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our sunrise service will be followed by a delicious breakfast, and then Sunday School for all ages.

Come and experience the hope and new life of Easter with our community. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
