UPDATE: BUDDY HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME! PHOTOS IN THE COMMENTS.
We DESPERATELY need YOUR help! ***ADOPTION FEE WAIVED****
Buddy is now officially our longest resident, waiting over a year now for a family. Why? Because other dogs scare Buddy. He has done ok with submissive laid back dogs in the past, but at his age and being nervous around them, why force the situation on him. We think it would just be better for Buddy to be the center of someone's whole world. (Sorry folks! No kitties either) Buddy is a GREAT dog in every other way possible. He is housetrained, crate trained, and he loves his humans with every fiber of his being. Even better than that - he adores kids! He so patient and kind to them. He will give back 10 fold whatever you give him. We promise.
He is not a dog that will lunge and go after other dogs - he just prefers they stay out of his personal space. Who can blame him for that? So, he can still enjoy the likes of hiking, camping, and walks. Or his favorite, sleeping at your feet.
What do we have to do to get Buddy a forever home? We are BEGGING for you to share his story far and wide. All it takes is that ONE special person to see Buddy's story and change his whole life forever.
No dog should have to wait this long for a family. Our hearts are breaking for him. Let's help our Buddy out.
