أنا «أَنَا هُوَ الْقِيَامَةُ وَالْحَيَاةُ، مَنْ آمَنَ بِي وَإِنْ مَاتَ فَسَيَحْيَا» (يوحنا 11: 25)
بإيمانٍ راسخٍ برجاء القيامة والحياة الأبدية، ننعى إليكم وفاة المأسوف عليه المرحوم فكري يوسف عطو، بعد صراعٍ مع المرض تحمّله بصبرٍ وتواضع وإيمان.

نسأل الرب يسوع المسيح، الذي غلب الموت وقام من بين الأموات، أن يتقبّل روح الفقيد في ملكوته، وأن يسكنه فردوس النعيم مع الأبرار والقديسين، وأن يمنحه الراحة الأبدية والنور الدائم.

With faith in the Resurrection and hope in eternal life, we announce with sorrow the passing of the late Fikri Youssef Atto, who departed this life after a long illness, endured with patience, humility, and faith.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Mrs. Afaf Boutros Mangalo;
his children:
Louay Atto,
Mayada Atto and her husband Nawar Tankji,
and Marwan Atto;
and his grandchildren:
Maria Tankji, Mirna Tankji, Jonathan Atto, Andrew Atto, and Maya Tankji.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters:
the late Pharmacist Salem Atto, Dr. Adel Atto, the late Josephine Atto, the late Evelyn Atto, Souad Atto, Suhayla Atto, the late Zouhair Atto, and the late Waleed Atto.
He will be mourned by his extended family and relatives from the families of Atto, Mangalo, Dabbagh, Borgi, Sano, Braya, Tankji, Behnam, Fandeqli, Kabak, Qassir, Iwas, and Akrawe.
Condolences will be received on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at:

The Funeral Service will be held at the Cathedral on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by the burial at:

May our Lord Jesus Christ, who conquered death and rose from the dead, receive the soul of His departed servant Fikri into His heavenly Kingdom, and grant him eternal rest, everlasting light, and a place among the righteous and the saints. Amen.
