ببالغ الحزن والأسى ننعى وفاة جورج رسّام الذي انتقل إلى جوار الرب بسلام محاطاً بعائلته يوم ١٠ حزيران ٢٠٢٦
وهو ابن المرحوم جبرائيل رسّام والمرحومة روزين غزال.
زوجته غريس بدروسيان وولديه غابريال وغريغوري رسّام.

تتقبل العائلة التعازي يوم الاثنين ١٥ حزيران ٢٠٢٦ من الساعة الخامسة مساءً حتى التاسعة مساءً في مجم

أما مراسم الجنازة فستقام في المكان نفسه يوم الثلاثاء ١٦ حزيران ٢٠٢٦ الساعة الواحدة بعد الظهر، يليها الدفن في المقبرة المجاورة.
وبدلًا من إرسال الزهور، تتمنى عائلة المرحوم ان تقدم التبرعات لكاتدرائية السيدة العذراء ومار يعقوب النصيبيني.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Georges Rassam, who departed peacefully surrounded by his family on June 10, 2026.
Son of the late Gebrael Rassam and the late Rozine Ghazal, he leaves behind his beloved wife Grace Bedrossian and his two sons, Gabriel and Gregory Rassam.
Georges is also mourned by:

Audrey Orbach and family
His brother Jacques Rassam
His sister Sarah, wife of Dr. Edouard Hajjar, and their children:

Georges also leaves to mourn the Ghazal, Yandem, Hajjar, Bedrossian, Varjabedian, and Hovassapian families, as well as many dear friends and colleagues in Canada and Lebanon.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Saint-Laurent.
The funeral service will be held at the same location on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., followed by the burial in the adjacent cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary and St. Jacob of Nisibis Cathedral would be appreciated.
