Camp Homewood Come and experience the beauty of BC's amazing coast! Camp Homewood is a large summer camp with a small camp feel.

Whether you are looking for a quality camp for your child to enjoy this summer or a venue to host your next retreat or conference, Camp Homewood is the place for you! We have over 200 campers come every week but with our four camps: Harbour, Ranch, Sailing, and Woodsman running simultaneously, you won’t feel lost in the sea of faces. Harbour and Ranch campers stay at our main camp where they get to explore our 275 acres of forest, fields and ocean shore. Woodsman campers head off to our site on the lakes of central Quadra Island, and the Sailors get ready to embark on a week long sail around Desolation Sound and the Discovery Islands. We also have several exciting options for your next family getaway. Choose from our summer Family Camps, or contact us for more info about year-round rental possibilities for your next special event! Whether you like horses, sailing, tubing, or hiking, we’ve got something for you! Explore Camp Homewood and pick your own adventure!

🛠️Homewood Project Update: Bunkhouse Project - The ‘Woody Nook’!

A work in progress! The ‘Woody Nook’ deck project is almost complete! Only a few pieces of siding and trim to install and then some touchup paint and this ambitious project will be complete!

We are so thankful to Steve Swanson for his leadership from start to finish, and of course the 3 work party groups from Alberta who provided so many hours of volunteer help to make it all happen. A big shout out to Matt Barker for his good work to oversee the installation of the roof these past couple of weeks!

Last, but not least, we would like to recognize all of the people who gave to make this project possible. Like every project at Homewood, the deck was only possible because of the generous and thoughtful gifts of individuals who support our ministry. Thanks to you, we are ‘resetting the jewel’ so this generation and future generations can enjoy God’s creation and his love.

A heartfelt thank you to the O’Soup family. ♥

In August of 2025, Dave O’Soup and his family made the journey from Saskatchewan to Quadra Island to join the Camp Homewood team so Dave could take on the role of Guest Services Manager.

Although their stay was just 12 months long, we’re thankful for the blessing Dave was to our Guests and to the wider Homewood community! Dave learned the ropes very quickly, and his warm smile and his gentle spirit made every day at camp special. Dave was just what Camp Homewood needed, and he will truly be missed.

Our thanks extend to the whole family— kids included! Olivia, Sawyer, Jasper, and Watson - you all have a wonderful gift for making people feel welcome. Your involvement in camp life as a family helped reinforce the feeling that Homewood is a place where everyone belongs.

Thank you, Dave & Jane for saying ‘Yes!’ to Homewood, and for serving so faithfully during the year you were with us and for sharing your lives with us as well. We’re grateful for all you gave and for the impact you had on our ministry.

We miss you tons and we are praying for God’s blessing as you step back into life in Saskatchewan!

Thank you, Dave & Jane O’Soup! 🌲 ♥
