Giddy up to Homewood Ranch!
One of our most sought after camps includes spending time with these majestic animals. Campers learn basic horsemanship skills including animal husbandry, grooming, and riding. This year we have added two new camps with different focuses- Rodeo (learn Rodeo skills) and Extreme Ranch (for our more advanced riders who want to spend even more time with the horses).

Did you know just spending time in the presence of horses can help regulate a person’s nervous systems, lower stress, and calms the body?

A BIG THANK YOU TO WORK CREW! Today we celebrate and get ready to say goodbye to our first work crew of 2026! Camp Homewood’s leadership training and development pipeline starts with Work Crew for those who have completed grade 9. It is a month of hard work- dish pit, bathrooms, janitorial, grounds keeping and food service. It’s not all hard work- we make sure they play hard too! Congrats to our July Crew! 🎈 👏 🎉

Family Camp #2 is a blast! Lots of little (and big) engineers and rocket scientists appear during our bottle rocket challenge! Who knew you could have so much fun with pop bottles, water, sand, cardboard, duct tape and a little bit of pressure!! We still have room in Family Camp #3 if you’d like to join us at Cape Canaveral/Homewood!

Good times! Staff Training started Friday evening, and we are having a BLAST! As you can tell by the photo, there are a couple of GAPS to fill. We need people to fill the following roles:

1. Male Tent Leader (3) age 18+
2. Male LIT (3) age 16+
3. Office Assistant (1) age 18+
4. Dining Room Host (1) age 16+
5. Laundry Lady (1) age 16+
6. Kitchen Helper (2) age 16+
7. Maintenance Helper (1) age 18+

Some positions are funded. Bursaries are also available.

We are also looking for students who have finished grade 9, 10, 11 or 12 to serve on Work Crew. Session 1 (July 3 - July 31) or Session 2 (August 3 - August 28). Work Crew camp is fantastic! Learn to work as a team and help make camp happen for 1,100 other campers! Work hard, play hard, grow in your faith, eat good food, and build friends for life.
