This week, a prayer team travelled to Victoria to pray over our Island, our province, our nation, and those entrusted with leadership.
They began by praying for First Nations, asking that the Father’s heart and purposes would be released over Indigenous communities. Then, walking over to the flag at half mast, there was prayer for the grieving community at Wainwright Military Base, lifting up those impacted by tragedy, their families, and those whose lives remain in the balance.
Throughout the grounds, they prayed in small groups, lifting up declarations over our land and government, echoing the words of Jesus:
“Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10
Thank you to Jason Goertzen, who serves as chaplain to the B.C. Legislature, for hosting our team. We honour and thank those who faithfully answer the call to pray, believing that our prayers matter and that God is at work in our land.
Let this be a reminder to us all: may we continue to lift up prayers in our homes, workplaces, communities, and wherever God has placed us.
Let His Kingdom come. Let His will be done. 🔥🙏🏼
