We live in a world where we can watch almost anything.

Watch someone climb a mountain.
Watch someone survive in the wilderness.
Watch someone else live an incredible life.

But watching an adventure isn't the same as living one.
And sometimes we do the same thing with Christianity.
We consume sermons. Listen to worship. Watch Christian content. Sit in church.

But Jesus didn't invite us to watch Him from the sidelines. He said: “Come, follow me.”

There is a story to tell.
There is a life to live.
There are people to bring along.

The Christian life is an adventure with Jesus.

Garden City Gathering tonight @ 5:30!
We gather and worship because God is inviting us into His presence. In the story of Scripture, God didn’t wait for His people to figure out how to worship. He invited them to gather with Him at Sinai in the book of Exodus to celebrate his rescue and redemption. That invitation continues through the rest of the story.
Every Sunday, we gather because God is calling us to come: to worship Him, hear His Word, receive His grace, and be formed together as His people.
When we miss Sunday, we don’t just miss a service.
We miss an invitation to be with God and His people.
So see you tonight as we respond to God’s invitation!
