Rip Shawn Benjamin McCullough

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shawn Benjamin McCullough on September 7, 2025 at the age of 55 years , in Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan. Shawn is lovingly remembered by his mother Gwen Quon; his sister Tracey Basaraba (Darcy); his nephew Jon (Kelly) Basaraba and their children Rylan and Brook; and his niece Logan (Curtis Gilbert) Basaraba and their children Caidence, Adalynn, Lincoln, C**t, and Everleigh. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from British Columbia to Ontario and everywhere in between. Shawn held close many dear friends who became like family, including Joan, Arlene, and Virginia Umpherville, as well as Renee and Scott Horner. Throughout his life, Shawn was known for his strong work ethic and wide range of skills. He worked in bars both locally and in Alberta, before moving into scaffolding, where he advanced to the role of superintendent with various companies across the province. Later in life, he took on roles as a tow truck driver, carpenter, and most recently earned his Class 1A license and began driving truck-a job he was proud of and enjoyed up until his passing. Shawn had a deep love for hunting, but nothing compared to his passion for riding his Harley. He found great joy on the road, the ride and especially the people he rode with. His sense of humour, infectious laughter, and knack for making people smile left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Friends often asked, ” Did you see Shawn’s lateset video?” always followed by a good laugh or a big grin. Shawn will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A Come and Go Visitation for Shawn will be held on Sunday September 14, 2025 starting at 12 Noon At Mackenzie Chapel 130 9th St East, followed by coffee and dainties at Plaza 88 @ 2PM. RIP Wade Thomas Lehner

The family of Wade Lehner sadly announce his passing on August 21, 2025, at the age of 58 years. Wade was born on July 27, 1967, and raised in Prince Albert. From an early age, since he could walk, Wade’s love for sports was powerful. His passion for hockey and racquetball led him to great heights, achieving a Canadian Top 3 ranking for Men’s Racquetball. Wade’s love of sports did not stop at playing on a national level, he also spent many years coaching at the highest levels. Growing up, Wade spent endless summers at the family cabin at Emma Lake, enjoying fishing, waterskiing and kneeboarding.

When it came to detailing vehicles, from RVs and boats, to cars and trucks, Wade was a master craftsman, making each one appear just like new.

Wade dearly loved his nieces, Arianna and Karlee, and nephews Brayden and Chase. Birthdays, Christmas and holidays never went uncelebrated, and a text or phone call was always guaranteed from “Uncle Wade” on those special days.

Wade is survived by his parents, Tom and Jeanette Lehner; his brothers, Brad (Carey) Lehner, and their children, Karlee and Chase; Dean (Gaby) Lehner, and their children, Brayden & Arianna.

Renitta is survived by her loving family, her daughters, Princess Roy, Addy-Emma Roy, Bexley Roy, Lucky Roy; her sons, Isaiah Roy, Elijiah Roy, Bentley Roy; her sisters, Carol Pedersen Tootoo, Val Pedersen, Rhonda Pedersen, Verna Pedersen Villeneuve, Carla Pedersen, Lisa Courtoreille; her brothers, Daryl Pedersen, Bradley Roy, Jonathon Roy, Remi Roy, Chris Young, Frankie Kiezie; survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, aunties & uncles.
