“…He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭14‬:‭17‬

This verse matched this morning perfectly! The rain was pouring down, and more than a few of us were a tad bit wet when we arrived, but that didn’t dampen our spirits! I always love it when we are in the sanctuary, and you can hear the rain pounding down on the roof. It feels like a tangible reminder of God’s goodness and presence. God gives us rain so that life can grow!

Plus, it certainly didn’t hurt that a feast awaited us after the service with ham, scalloped potatoes, meatballs, deviled eggs, biscuits, and berry crisp!

It’s a rather good morning when your heart, soul, and belly are all filled!
