This verse matched this morning perfectly! The rain was pouring down, and more than a few of us were a tad bit wet when we arrived, but that didn’t dampen our spirits! I always love it when we are in the sanctuary, and you can hear the rain pounding down on the roof. It feels like a tangible reminder of God’s goodness and presence. God gives us rain so that life can grow!

Plus, it certainly didn’t hurt that a feast awaited us after the service with ham, scalloped potatoes, meatballs, deviled eggs, biscuits, and berry crisp!

It’s a rather good morning when your heart, soul, and belly are all filled!

Sunday evening we hosted a Camp Douglas Hymn Swing Benefit Concert and over $6,600 was raised to support !

Thank you so much to everyone involved from those who organized, those who donated, those who fed us, those who blessed us with music, and everyone in between!

The Out to Lunch Bunch truly outdid themselves at today’s Mexican Fiesta Fellowship Lunch! There was so much laughter, great conversation, and incredible food (some of us may still be dreaming of the sweet potato, pulled pork & avocado cream dish). It is always such a joy to gather together!
