REAL TALK, SIS
There was once a woman who was deeply committed to her church. She served with passion, honored the man of God, always at the front row taking notes, giving gifts, and defending her pastor with zeal. But at home, her husband though not a preacher was treated with coldness and disrespect. Her words wounded more than they healed. Her submission was to the pulpit, but not to the priest of her own house.
One day, she asked God, “Why do I feel so empty despite all my service?” And the Spirit whispered,
“You cannot claim to honour Me while dishonouring the one I joined you to.”
🕊️ God is not looking for public devotion that hides private rebellion.
True Godliness begins at home.
🧏🏾♂️ Ephesians 5:22 (NIV) says:
“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.”
This is not about oppression it’s about divine order. You can serve your pastor, yes. But never at the expense of your husband’s honour. If your man of God becomes more important than your man at home, you may be practicing idolatry, not faith.
👑 A Godly woman knows this truth:
The anointing starts in her own home.
