The mission of Shaare Zion Beth-El Congregation is to ensure the perpetuation of egalitarian Jewish worship and prayer, Jewish Community, education and family life within the precepts of Conservative Judaism and in the traditional role of the synagogue. With our active clergy, we offer a dynamic blend of worship opportunities that span from the small and intimate to grand classical services incorp

orating a myriad of musical accompaniment. Our main sanctuary, constructed in 1931, is on the National Register of Historic Places and provides a truly awe-inspiring space in which to practice Jewish ritual life. Now, as always, Shaare Zion Beth-El Congregation is your home.

So proud of our B’nai Mitzvah students for spending time at the Friendship Circle and learning the true meaning of chesed.
Through simple acts of kindness, they showed that even the smallest moments can make a big difference.

Today members of our congregation volunteered at MADA Community Center, helping prepare for Passover by packing food for families in need.
A beautiful reminder that the spirit of Pesach is not only remembering our story of freedom, but making sure others can celebrate the holiday with dignity.
Proud of our community for showing up and living the mitzvah of chesed. 💙

Happy Purim!
A few weeks ago we did a Havdallah program where the younger members of our Congregation made Mishloach Manot for participants of the Friendship Circle.
What a joy we had dropping them off!
