Shaykh Ali Elsayed is a member of the CCI (Canadian Council of Imams) and the president and founder of the Know Your Prophet Centre. He has spent over 20 years accompanying and learning from some of the great Shaykhs and Imams of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat of our time.
He has ijazah—permission to teach Islamic spirituality—from Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani and Shaykh Muhammad Adil Rabbani. He has travelled the world on behalf of his teachers, spreading Islam’s message of tolerance and mercy.
Shaykh Ali is also an author, accomplished nasheed artist, vocalist, and writer of devotional poetry. He has produced multiple Arabic and English nasheed albums in praise of Allah ﷻ and His Prophet ﷺ.
Shaykh Ali Elsayed currently resides in Toronto, Canada.
