Today we pray for the grace to recognize the Lord’s presence at every moment. As we receive Holy Communion—the greatest gift, God giving himself to us—may our hearts open wide, and may the eyes of our faith truly behold the Lord whom we receive. And when we leave the church, just as the disciples hurried from Emmaus back to Jerusalem, may our words and our deeds joyfully proclaim to the world that Jesus lives within our hearts.

THE NATIONAL MARCH FOR LIFE

The 2026 March for Life in Ottawa will take place on Thursday, May 14th.
The theme this year is “Follow Me”. This is your opportunity to restore a culture of life. SAVELIVES. SAVESOULS.

There will be a bus leaving Sts. Peter & Paul Church at 6:30 am and the cost is $40.00 per person. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the lobby.

CATHOLIC CHRISTIAN OUTREACH

My name is Joan Manuel Izquierdo Mesa, I was accepted on a university student mission by CCO (Catholic Christian Outreach) along with my brothers in Christ, Mikael Victoria and Alberto Sànchez Naranjo. CCO is a university student movement dedicated to evangelization and challenging young people to live in the fullness of the Catholic faith with a strong emphasis on building leaders for the renewal of the world.

This summer we will be traveling to Cork, Ireland to share Jesus and build up leaders in preparation for their 100th anniversary of their Corpus Christi procession. If you are interested in supporting our mission financially and with your prayers please contact us at [email protected].

We will be at mass the weekend of May 2nd and 3rd to talk about our mission. You will have the opportunity to make a donation in the lobby. You can come find us after mass to answer your questions.
