We join our Canada Pacific District Superintendent in asking for earnest prayer for those affected by the recent shooting in Tumbler Ridge, BC. Please pray for comfort for grieving families, healing for the injured, and strength for the whole community.

Pastor Lori Mickelson and the Church in Chetwynd are the closest point of contact. She and other churches in the area are coordinating to respond to the spiritual and emotional needs of their neighbours.

A Nazarene child development center in Chile, Abrazo de Mamá, (Mom’s Hug), has created a safe space where children’s spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth is carefully fostered.

In this community, homelessness, crime, and widespread substance abuse all create heightened risks to children’s safety. The center's ministry is focused on reducing those risks by supporting parents and providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. For local migrant families—whose parents often work long hours—the center offers reliable care that ensures children are protected until their parents return home.

At this center, 90 percent of children who attend have educational support needs like ADHD, ASD, language development needs, and learning disabilities. Through the efforts of the center staff, these children receive targeted academic guidance and support. All attendees receive spiritual nurture to help them learn about God’s love and are invited to Vacation Bible School and other opportunities to discover faith.

NCM Canada partnered with the CHRIST-Mish Team and Canada Central District churches to bless children & families of the Mishkeegogemang Community with 200+ gifts & winter supplies!

The Team that is currently delivering these items travelled more than 20hrs to drop them off.
