It was lovely to attend Worship Service led by Rev. Tee at Kingston United Church this morning. There was a joyous feeling evident as the special music and inspiring message reminded us to reach out, face to face, in genuine love to everyone we meet.

Fellowship followed in the hall as the Congregation gathered to enjoy a delicious pot luck lunch. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

Next Sunday, St. John’s will welcome back Rev. Elisabeth and Music Director, Carole Baltzer after their vacations. See you then.

Rev. Elisabeth and Music Director, Carole Baltzer, will be back at St. John’s September 6. This Sunday, why not attend service at our closest cluster church, Kingston United? Added bonus - after Worship led by Rev. Tee, there will be a potluck lunch and fellowship time. Don’t forget to take something to share. See you there.

It was a pleasure to attend Sunday Worship at Aylesford United Church. Rev. Webster Vhembo is presently in Zimbabwe after receiving the sad news of his brother’s sudden passing. We join in sending sympathy to the whole family, on behalf of St. John’s United. Today’s service was very aptly led by Tom Skinner, with Wendy Hardman as Organist and Music Director.
It was lovely to see the bountiful vegetable garden tended to mainly by Rev. Webster along the west side of the church. Today’s gentle rain was watering the many plants.

Today, a few of us from St. John’s were happy to attend morning worship with our cluster friends at Berwick Trinity United Church. The lovely sanctuary boasts impressive beams overhead and beautiful scenes in the windows on each side. The hymns and piano & organ music were made even more special by the wonderful acoustics. At the closing of the service we were invited downstairs for refreshments and fellowship. Thank you to Rev. Mary Joynn Harrison and the Congregation for welcoming us so warmly.

It seems our three other Cluster Churches are conducting a friendly signage competition, coming up with some clever church signs. St. John’s in Middleton does not have a lawn sign, but if we did, it might look something like this.
