Contrary to the teachings of mainstream Christianity the feasts in Leviticus aren’t “Jewish”. In fact their existence gets mentioned in Genesis 1:14. Where it mentions *seasons* - that word actually translates to festivals. These festivals are appointed times and merely part of God’s calendar, made before man even existed. Long before “jews” even existed.
When we stop looking at Jesus’s sacrifice as just saving us from eternal condemnation and actually look at it truly for what it is we can see that it’s about being grafted-in. It’s actually about entering into covenant with God. As with any covenant there are standards to live by just like faithfulness in a marriage.
Our covenant with God includes His commandments, His Holy days, His Sabbaths, His dietary instructions. There is no separate covenant for gentiles.
So let us learn together about the Feasts this Sabbath.
