JESUS KNOWS THE COST OF YOUR TEARS…

The Bible says that this woman sat at the feet of Jesus and washed His feet with her tears and dried them with her hair (Luke 7:36-50).

What have you gone through in your life that has produced enough tears that you are be able to wash (not wipe) but to WASH the feet of Jesus?

Maybe you have cried more tears in this season than you ever thought you would.

But don’t underestimate the value of what you have cried through.

Bring your tears to Jesus.

And pour them out at His feet.

YOUR TEARS ARE NOT WASTED!!!

“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy” Psalm 126:5.

There are seasons when all you can see is what you’ve cried through, but God sees what those tears are producing.

What feels like a season of weeping, may actually be a season of sowing. And one day, you will step into the harvest and realize that the tears that you have cried were watering the ground that God was already preparing.

So don’t hold back your tears in this season. Keep sowing them, knowing that God is storing every tear, tilling the soil, and preparing a harvest that you cannot yet see!

Hagar entered the wilderness carrying a skin of water, but God opened her eyes to a well.

The skin had a limited supply.
But the well was connected to the source.

What was placed in Hagar’s hands eventually ran out, but God’s provision didn’t.

Scripture doesn’t say that God created the well in that moment. It says that, “God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water.”

So what if the answer isn’t that God needs to provide something new? What if you simply need Him to open your eyes to what He has already placed in front of you?

This week, stop staring at what has run out. ARISE. Lift up your head. Ask God to help you see what you couldn’t see before.

Your skin may be empty, but the Source is not.

DON’T MISTAKE PROVISION FOR FREEDOM.

The Israelites had become so accustomed to slavery that they began to confuse being fed with being free.

But Pharaoh wasn’t feeding them because he cared about them. He was feeding them just enough to keep them working for him.

The enemy will do the same thing.

He will convince you to stay in bo***ge, because at least it’s familiar.
At least your needs are being met.
At least you know what to expect.

So have you gotten to the place in your life, where the enemy has convinced you to settle for bo***ge, simply because he is still feeding you?

What does the “ask” in your prayers reveal about your heart?

Some prayers draw us closer to God.
Some advance His Kingdom.
And some bring our personal needs before Him.

All of these prayers are beautiful. But here’s the question worth reflecting on this week:
Where are the majority of your asks coming from?

Pay attention to what you consistently ask God for because it will reveal what has captured your heart.
