One of the most powerful stories of grace is found in Luke 23:39–43, when Jesus was hanging on the cross between two criminals.
One thief mocked Jesus, but the other recognized who He was. He said:
“Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Luke 23:42
And Jesus answered:
“Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
Luke 23:43
Think about this: the thief had no time to prove himself. He couldn't perform good works, change his past, or earn his salvation. He simply turned to Jesus with faith.
And Jesus welcomed him.
This reminds us that salvation is not something we earn it is a gift of God's grace received through faith in Jesus Christ.🙌
