Did you know that astrology is a method of divination?
“Divination in any form is sin. It is not harmless entertainment. Christians should avoid any practice related to divination, including fortune-telling, astrology, witchcraft, tarot cards, necromancy, and spell-casting.
The spirit world is real, but it is not innocent. According to Scripture, those spirits that are not the Holy Spirit or angels are evil spirits.”
Only Jesus is the gate. If you access the spirit world illegally, there’s no way to control what spirits you are getting. And those “spirits” are demons. Keep reading and we’ll go over how to close the door to them. ✝️
God tells us His view of divination in Deuteronomy 18:10: “There shall not be found among you . . . anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens.”
Divination is witchcraft. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. To participate in witchcraft is spiritual adultery. It’s cheating on God. It breaks His heart.
So what do you do if you’ve been involved in divination? The Bible says My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
But God is not willing that anyone should perish, He gave His only Son so that we could be reconciled to Him.
⚠️ Repent. Turn away from the sin and turn to Jesus.
🙏🏼 Pray this from your heart. Lord, I repent and renounce dabbling in divination. I ask Your forgiveness, cleanse me with the blood of Jesus. I confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I put on the whole Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). I rededicate my life to You. I ask You to fill me with Your Holy Spirit, direct me and guide me. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
