ONE FINAL LOOK BACK | STBC 170TH ANNIVERSARY ✨💙

As we share our final reflection post from an unforgettable 170th Anniversary Weekend, our hearts remain full of gratitude for everything God has done and continues to do at Saint Thomas Baptist Church.

Our 3:00 PM Anniversary Service was the perfect conclusion to a weekend rooted in faith, history, worship, and legacy. We were blessed by the powerful ministry of our very own STBC Mass Choir, filling the sanctuary with praise, and by the dynamic Word brought forth by Rev. Dr. Mark Jefferson. 🙌🏾🎶

For 170 years, Saint Thomas has been more than a building. It has been a spiritual home, a gathering place, a foundation for families, and a testament to generations who prayed, served, sacrificed, worshipped, and believed.

As we close this chapter of celebration, we do so looking forward. We honour the shoulders we stand on, cherish the legacy entrusted to us, and continue the work so that generations yet to come will have a story of faithfulness to tell. ⛪️💙

170 years of faith. 170 years of family. 170 years of legacy. And by God’s grace, we’re still moving forward.

To God be ALL the glory! 🙏🏾✨

✨ 170 YEARS OF FAITH, FAMILY & FELLOWSHIP! ✨

What a powerful 11AM Worship Service as we continued celebrating 170 years of Saint Thomas Baptist Church! 💙🙌🏾

From the voices lifted in praise to the Word reminding us to “Recalibrate. Fix. My Ways,” the sanctuary was filled with worship, reflection, and gratitude for all God has done through generations of STBC.

For 170 years, God has kept us, strengthened us, and allowed this church to remain a place of worship, community, and faith. We honour those who came before us, celebrate those who continue the work today, and look forward with expectation to what God has in store for the generations to come. ⛪️✨

170 years down, and the story is still being written. To God be ALL the glory! 🙏🏾💙

🎶 POWER HOUR 🎶

What an unforgettable moment for STBC & North Preston! 💜

As part of the 170th Anniversary Celebration of Saint Thomas Baptist Church, we were honoured to host our very first Power Hour, proudly sponsored by Music Nova Scotia

From uplifting gospel music to joyful dancing in the streets, Power Hour brought our community together in celebration, worship, and fellowship. It was beautiful to see generations united, praising God and celebrating 170 years of His faithfulness.

A heartfelt thank you to Music Nova Scotia , every performer, volunteer, and everyone who came out to make this inaugural event so special. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to see Power Hour continue to grow for years to come.

170 years later… we’ve come this far by faith.✝️💜
