St. Mary's Pastoral Charge - The United Church of Canada A Christ-centered, community church, where all are welcome! St. Mary's is a three point pastoral charge in rural Nova Scotia. Including St.

John's United Church in Sherbrooke, Kirk Memorial United Church in Glenelg and Bethany United Church in East River-St. Mary's (in ecumenical shared ministry with Zion Presbyterian Church), the charge is a member of the Bermuda-Nova Scotia Region of The United Church of Canada.
